On Wednesday, 24th of May 2023, Hon. Damilola Sonayon James, the Supervisor for Agric and Social Services Badagry West LCDA, extended her condolences to Hon. Risikat Hassan, the Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) Badagry Local Government. Hon. Damilola visited Hon. Risikat Hassan during the burial service of her late husband to offer support to her and her family in their time of grief.

During the visit, Hon. Damilola James expressed her heartfelt sympathies to Hon. Risikat and offered her condolences. She commended her for her resilience and strength during this challenging period and provided moral support to help her cope with the loss.

Additionally, Hon. Damilola James took the opportunity to meet and comfort other family members who were present at the service, sharing in their grief and offering words of solace. She joined the family in prayer, seeking solace and comfort during this difficult time.

Gbenu Henugbe Joseph, The Executive chairman of Badagry west LCDA at the implementation of Y-2023 Agricultural value-chain enterprise activation and farmers support programme held at Badagry Local Government Secretariat, expresses satisfaction of women participation in Agriculture while appreciating the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture._
_Commend Badagry farmers for tackling food security issues, challenge them to keep producing to dominate their local market And begin to start looking into exportation of their products._

On Wednesday 24th, 2023. The supervisor for Agric and Social Services Badagry west LCDA, joined members of the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture at the implementation of Y-2023 Agricultural value-chain enterprise activation and farmers support programme.

The Agricultural Value - chains enterprise support programme is an initiative of the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture in supporting value chains of advantage across the State's Local Governments targeted at Fish/Poultry production and processing, Cold Storage solutions, And Horticulture Products.

Hon. Damilola Sonayon James representing the council chairman of Badagry west LCDA, while speaking commended the effort of the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and the state government in the agricultural sector, She expressed satisfaction with the significant participation of women in agriculture, recognizing their vital role in the sector.

The supervisor also took the opportunity to commend the local farmers of Badagry for their efforts in tackling food security challenges. She emphasized the importance of their continuous production to dominate their local market and begin to start looking into exportation of foodstuffs, which not only strengthens the local economy but also promotes self-sufficiency.

"The implementation of the Y-2023 Agricultural value-chain enterprise activation and farmers support programme serves as a testament to the commitment of the government and its stakeholders towards agricultural development and food security in Badagry and the wider Lagos State." She said.

In addition to the program, farming items were distributed to the farmers present, further supporting their endeavors in agricultural production and enhancing their capacity for improved output.

The event served as an important platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and the exchange of ideas among agricultural stakeholders, as they collectively strive towards the sustainable growth of the agricultural sector in Badagry and the state as a whole.

During her recent visit to Sejfarm venture, Hon. Damilola Sonayon James was observed engaging in the feeding of fish. Sejfarm is an aquaculture farm that focuses on the cultivation of aquatic organisms, such as fish, for food consumption.

Hon. Damilola Sonayon James' visit provided an opportunity to witness the beauty of aquaculture in action, as well as the intricacies involved in the farming process.

By participating in the feeding of the fish, the Supervisor For Agric and Social Services Badagry west LCDA was able to experience firsthand the care and attention required to maintain healthy and thriving aquatic populations. Overall, her visit was an insightful and educational experience that highlighted the importance of sustainable aquaculture practices in providing food for our growing population.

Today 30th March, 2023.
Hon. Damilola Sonayon James, the Supervisor for Agriculture and Social Services Badagry West LCDA, paid a courtesy visit to SejFarms Venture Badagry. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate and extend felicitations to Mr. Sejiro Michael Oke-Tojinu, the Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer of Sejfarms venture, on his recent appointment as the new President of Lagos State Catfish and Allied Farmers Association of Nigeria (LASCAFAN).

During the visit, the two parties discussed strategic ways to improve and promote the aquaculture sector in Badagry West. The discussions focused on exploring new opportunities to enhance the growth of the sector, identifying challenges faced by farmers, and developing sustainable solutions to tackle them.

Hon. Damilola Sonayon James commended Sejfarms Venture for their commitment to the growth and development of the agriculture sector in the region and acknowledged the role played by Sejiro Michael Oke-Tojinu in promoting sustainable agriculture practices.
