Season’s Greetings and Reflections from Sen. Ahmad Aliyu Wadada (Sarkin Yakin Keffi)

As we celebrate the joyous occasion of Christmas, I extend my heartfelt wishes to the Christian faithful across Nasarawa West and beyond. This season symbolizes love, hope, and unity, values that guide us in our service to the people.

In the year 2024, by the will of Allah, we marked one year in office as your senator, and I am humbled to share some of our achievements aimed at improving lives across our senatorial district:

Youth and Women Empowerment: We launched programs to equip our youth and women with vocational skills to combat unemployment. A total of 267 tailoring machines were distributed to deserving individuals, enabling them to establish sustainable livelihoods.

Healthcare Initiatives: We supported the General Hospital in Nasarawa with essential health facilities to enhance healthcare delivery.

Business Support: Financial assistance was extended to 186 individuals, empowering them to start or grow their businesses.

Agricultural Support: We provided essential farming tools and resources to 256 farmers, promoting productivity and food security.

Infrastructure Development: Solar streetlights were installed in several communities, improving security and living conditions.

Employment Opportunities: Over 106 constituents were secured pensionable appointments, ensuring stability and career growth.

Legislative Milestones: Within this year, I successfully sponsored 10 impactful bills, including the establishment of the Federal College of Fisheries and Aquatic Science and the upgrade of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa to the Nasarawa State University of Mining and Engineering.

These milestones were achieved through the grace of Allah and the unwavering support of our people. As we celebrate, I urge our Christian leaders to preach the message of peace and unity, asking God to guide our hearts toward fostering development and ensuring the dividends of democracy reach all.

May this Christmas bring joy, peace, and prosperity to you and your loved ones. Together, let us continue to build a better Nasarawa West.
