To the good people of Lafia Central Constituency,

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

I, *Hon. Surajo Tijjani Mohammed*, under the platform of the *All Progressives Congress (APC)*, wish to formally notify the general public of my withdrawal from the race as an aspirant for Member representing Lafia Central Constituency ahead of the 2027 elections.

I'm not contesting for the seat at this time. This decision was reached after wide consultations with my family, political associates, elders, and well-meaning stakeholders, in the best interest of peace and unity in our constituency.

I deeply appreciate the loyalty, prayers, and confidence reposed in me by my supporters and the people of Lafia Central. I do not take your trust lightly.

To my supporters, I'm appealing for your calm and patience. Please remain peaceful and law-abiding. I urge you all to *wait for my next line of action*, which I will communicate in due course, In sha Allah.

Our commitment to the progress of Lafia Central remains firm. This is only a step towards a bigger vision for our people.

*Hon. Surajo Tijjani Mohammed*, aspiring Member representing the good people of Lafia Central come 2027, received a formal endorsement from *Former Inspector General of Police, IGP Muhammadu Abubakar Adamu*.

The endorsement took place at *Dunama Primary School, Lafia*, during a gathering of the 7 wards of Lafia Central Constituency. The event brought together party stakeholders, ward leaders, youth groups, women leaders, and supporters from across Lafia Central.

Speaking at the occasion, IGP Muhammadu Abubakar Adamu expressed confidence in Hon. Surajo’s capacity, character, and commitment to serve the people of Lafia Central with integrity and dedication. He described Hon. Surajo as a candidate who understands the needs of the people and urged the 7 wards to unite behind his aspiration for quality representation.

In his response, Hon. Surajo thanked IGP Adamu for the trust and fatherly support. He pledged to remain loyal to the people, to run an inclusive campaign, and to work tirelessly for the development of all wards in Lafia Central if given the mandate.

HON. SURAJO TIJJANI MOHAMMED ATTENDS AWARENESS PROGRAMME FOR IGP ADAMU GOVERNORSHIP AMBITION AT KOFAN ZANWA, LAFIA****

Hon. Surajo Tijjani Mohammed, who is aspiring for the seat of Member representing the good people of Lafia Central come 2027, In sha Allah, had the opportunity to attend the *awareness programme on Former IGP Muhammad Abubakar Adamu’s governorship ambition for Nasarawa State come 2027*, In sha Allah.

The programme, held at *Kofan Zanwa, Lafia*, was organized to sensitize the people on the importance of voting credible and people-oriented candidates. During the event, Hon. Surajo addressed the gathering and emphasized the need for Nasarawa State to elect leaders with proven track records of service, integrity, and commitment to development.

He described *Former IGP Adamu* and himself as candidates who have contributed significantly to the development and welfare of the people. Hon. Surajo urged the people to support IGP Adamu for Governor and himself for Member representing Lafia Central, stating that their combined leadership will bring tangible progress, security, youth empowerment, and inclusive growth to the state and constituency.

HON. SURAJO TIJJANI MOHAMMED SUBMITS NOMINATION FORMS AT APC PARTY OFFICE, LAFIA****

Hon. Surajo Tijjani Mohammed, who is aspiring for the seat of Member representing the good people of Lafia Central come 2027, has officially *submitted his nomination form* at the *APC Party Office in Lafia*.

The submission was done in the presence of a large gathering of supporters, party faithful, youth groups, women leaders, and well-wishers from across Lafia Central who came out in solidarity to show their support for his aspiration. The atmosphere at the party office was one of unity, enthusiasm, and optimism as supporters expressed confidence in Hon. Surajo’s capacity to represent and serve the people effectively.

In a brief remark after the submission, Hon. Surajo thanked the supporters for their unwavering loyalty, commitment, and sacrifice. He stated that the overwhelming support is a clear indication that the people of Lafia Central desire inclusive, responsive, and people-driven representation. He pledged to remain accessible, accountable, and dedicated to the development and progress of Lafia Central if given the mandate.

Party officials at the APC Secretariat received the nomination form and commended Hon. Surajo for following due process and for his peaceful and organized mobilization. They urged all aspirants and supporters to maintain peace and decorum throughout the process.
