SPEAKER, KOKONA LEGISLATIVE ARM BUILDS STAFFS' QUARTER

The councilor representing Amba Electoral Ward, Hon. Abu Akuki Philemon who double as the speaker Kokona legislative arm construct 3 rooms to the staffs of primary health care (PHC), Amba.

The construction of the staffs quarter was in fulfilment of his campaign promises to partner with the Clinic as the only Primary health Care in the ward to ensure staffs lives in good and secure atmosphere.

Kokona Local Government Legislative Council Confirms 5 Supervisory Councillors-Nominees.

"... Today, Kokona Local Government Legislative Council has screened and confirmed all 5 supervisory councilors-nominees sent to it by the Council Chairman, Hon. Awalu Adamu.

Rt. Hon. Abu Akuki Philemon the Speaker of the Legislative Council announced their confirmation after their screening during the House proceedings today in Garaku

The Speaker urged the Supervisory Councilors-nominees to live above board while discharging their duties, if inaugurated by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Awalu Adamu

"Those confirmed are; Hon. Mairo Abdullahi Krishi - Kokona Ward, Hon. Hassan Baba Dogara - Ninkoro Ward, Hon. Ibrahim Mohammad Maisauri - Hadari Ward, Hon. Adamu K. Yahaya - Agwada, Hon. Akpomoshi James Musa -(Deputy Chairman) - Bassa," he said.

The Speaker directed the Clerk of the House to communicate the Legislative Council's resolution to the Executive Chairman for his further necessary action.

Earlier, Hon. Afiku Kuje ( APC- Hadari Ward), the Majority Leader of the Legislative Council moved a motion for the confirmation of the Supervisory Councilors-nominees.

Hon. Ishaya M. Danladi ( APC- Dari Ward), seconded the motion.

The Legislative Council unanimously confirmed all the Supervisory Councilors-nominees

It was earlier reported that on 28th October, 2022 the Executive Chairman, Kokona Local Government Council Hon. Awalu Adamu submitted a list of 5 Supervisory Councilors-nominees to the Council Legislative Arm for screening and confirmation as members of the Local Government Executive Council (LGEC).
