A Promise Fulfilled!

Following the visit by KATDICT to Tsaitsaye Market in Katsina and the presentation of the market’s requests to His Excellency, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, action was swiftly taken.

As a strong advocate for youth-led innovation and MSME development, His Excellency approved the immediate provision of solar-powered lights to improve visibility, safety, and overall working conditions for the marketers.

This intervention reflects a continued commitment to supporting local businesses and creating enabling environments where entrepreneurs and traders can thrive.

Katsina State Government held its 10th Regular Executive Council Meeting with Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda joining virtually — powered by the Katsina State Directorate of ICT (KATDICT).

This seamless remote participation underscores KATDICT’s role in enabling secure digital governance and strengthening government continuity through innovation.

Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe chaired the session, which focused on key developmental matters and strategic priorities for the future of Katsina.

Katsina → Kano 🚍 | GITEX Nigeria 2025 Roadshow – North West Edition
Today, the KATDICT family hit the road to Kano for the GITEX Nigeria 2025 Regional Roadshow, proudly led by our Director General, Naufal Ahmad.

This journey isn’t just about geography.
It’s about connecting Katsina’s digital ecosystem with national conversations on innovation, investment, and policy.

Hosted at the Coronation Hall, Kano Government House, GITEX Nigeria’s North West edition gathers startups, investors, policymakers, and ICT agencies from Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Kebbi, Jigawa, and Zamfara.

The DG will be joining a high-level panel to spotlight Katsina’s growing role in Nigeria’s digital transformation, and to represent the bold, youthful energy behind KATDICT’s mission.

₦100,000 to each vendor. Promise made. Promise kept.
At Arewa TechFest 2025 (held in May), Governor Dikko Umaru Radda pledged ₦100,000 in support for every vendor who showcased their solutions at the event.

Today, that promise was fulfilled, all vendors receiving their funds, disbursed through the Director General.

This is not just support.
It’s a clear message:
Innovation is seen. Enterprise is valued. Commitments are honored.

100 Women. 1 Mission.
Digital inclusion that goes beyond training.

After 3 intensive days of digital literacy training powered by NCC and KATDICT, we didn’t just award certificates,
We opened doors.

✅ All 100 participants went home with:
• A brand-new smartphone (courtesy of the program)
• An NCC Digital Literacy Certificate
• Practical knowledge to thrive in today’s digital economy

But that’s not all.

As an additional gesture of support, the Director General of KATDICT personally sponsored:
• 10 women for a ₦100,000 Social Media Masterclass
• 10 more for a ₦60,000 Design & Branding Masterclass
• Another 10 for a ₦25,000 Content Creation Masterclass

And in a show of generosity, , one of the program’s own facilitators, added 3 extra seats to his content creation class, on his own accord.

This is what real empowerment looks like.
