โThe program focuses on three focal geopolitical zones: North East, South West, and South East - to capture a diverse range of challenges including post-conflict recovery, media repression, and regional marginalization.

โ๐ฆ Capacity Building: A mandatory 5-day hybrid workshop (2 days in-person, 3 days virtual) featuring facilitators from global expert organizations like ICNL and EU-SEE.
โ๐ฆ Sustained Support: A monthly stipend of 100,000 naira paid upon editorial sign-off and publication of deliverables.
โ๐ฆ Professional Mentorship: Direct access to an internal editorial team and global civil society actors for story development and fact-checking.
โ๐ฆ Visibility: Reproduction of stories across popular blogs, the NNNGO website, and international partner newsrooms.

โ๐ฆ Professional Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience in print, broadcast, or digital journalism.
โ๐ฆ Institutional Support: Applicants must demonstrate commitment from their newsroom or media affiliation to publish or broadcast the fellowship's stories.
โ๐ฆ Geographic Focus: Residence or professional practice in the North East, South West, or South East geopolitical zones.
