ADC aspirant for Katsina-Ala, Ukum & Logo Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr Jaq Mulya paid Sallah homage to the Sarkin Hausawa and Hausa community yesterday. Represented by Hon. Yusuf Mudi Moyi, he preached peace, coexistence & pledged support when needed. He also greeted Chief Imams of Dariqa & Izala Masjid who prayed for his aspiration. Youths & Forest Guards security personnel pledged support for the Jaq Mulya movement ahead of 2027. Drinks & cash gifts were shared to ease Sallah expenses.

𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 (𝗔𝗗𝗖) 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀

Following the just concluded African Democratic Congress (ADC) primary elections for Katsina-Ala, Ukum, and Logo Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Jaq Mulya has been returned as winner with 8,859 votes out of 8,861 accredited voters, defeating Hon. Aondona Desmond Chidam who scored 2 votes.

Announcing the result of the House of Representatives primary election in Katsina-Ala, the Returning Officer, Hon. Tyona Kaase, said the outcome reflects the will of ADC members in Sankera and strengthens their resolve to vote for Hon. Jaq Mulya and all ADC State Assembly candidates in the 2027 general elections.

In the Benue State House of Assembly primaries for Katsina-Ala, Ukum, and Logo LGAs:
- 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮-𝗔𝗹𝗮 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁: Hon. Abel Ukuma returned by affirmation as consensus flag bearer.
- 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮-𝗔𝗹𝗮 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁: Hon. Anngu Jonathan returned by affirmation as consensus flag bearer.
- 𝗨𝗸𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Hon. Zaye Jerome returned as winner.
- 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Hon. Ajon Eric Tersoo returned by affirmation.

In a statement, the Zonal Chairman of the ADC, Hon. Peverga Terhemba Cosmas, said the primaries were carried out transparently in a free and fair environment across Zone A and Sankera axis in particular.

In appreciation, Hon. Dr. Jaq Mulya thanked all ADC members and the people of Sankera for reposing their confidence in him. He promised to instill unity, peace, and prosperity in Sankera once elected by the general populace in the 2027 elections.

Our campaign now moves forward with unity, focus, and renewed commitment to equitable representation and service for the people of Sankera.

Earlier today, Hon. Dr. Shagbaor Jaq Mulya returned his completed Expression of Interest and Nomination forms at the Benue State ADC Secretariat.

He formally presented the documents to the State Party Chairman, in line with the party’s guidelines for the 2027 House of Representatives election for Katsina-Ala, Ukum & Logo Federal Constituency.

This step marks another milestone in our collective journey toward leadership that prioritizes equity, service, and the progress of Sankera.

We thank party officials and stakeholders for the warm reception and commitment to a transparent process.

Last evening, Shagbaor Hon. Jaq Mulya PhD presented his Nomination and Expression of Interest forms to His Royal Highness, Tor Sankera II, HRH David Seav, at his Makurdi residence.

The visit was to seek royal blessings and guidance ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election for Katsina-Ala, Ukum & Logo Federal Constituency.

Elders and stakeholders from across Sankera witnessed the occasion, including Elder Tsavnande Ukeji, Neyuum Kputu, Shiaondo Aerga, Kpamwan Koko Ligom, Hon. Zaye Jerome, Hon. Eric Ajon, the ADC Assembly Consensus Aspirants, Logo North Central Zonal Chairman Kenneth Kumaga, Zone ‘A’ Zonal Chairman Peverga Cosmas, and Hon. David Vaahaa of the ADC Leadership Team.

Upon receiving the documents, HRH Tor Sankera II admonished the delegation to uphold unity, pursue justice, and remain dedicated to the peace and progress of Sankera. The counsel was received with gratitude, strengthening our resolve for leadership rooted in equity and service.

𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: 𝗔𝗗𝗖 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝘀 – House of Reps Seat Zoned to Katsina-Ala/Sh*tile, Dr. Jaq Mulya Ratified as Candidate

Following directives from the ADC Party in Benue State, stakeholders from Katsina-Ala, Ukum, and Logo Federal Constituency met last evening in Katsina-Ala to deliberate on the equitable rotation and zoning of the Federal House of Representatives seat.

After exhaustive consultations and a review of the historical antecedents of representation in the constituency, the meeting resolved:

1. The House of Representatives seat is zoned to Katsina-Ala LGA.
2. Katsina-Ala, in the spirit of fairness and inclusivity, further microzones the seat to Sh*tile extraction.

Upon due consideration of presentations from all aspirants, stakeholders unanimously agreed that Dr. Jaq Mulya possesses the credentials, integrity, and vision to represent the aspirations of the people at the national level. The Council therefore ratified the consensus that the seat be ceded to Sh*tile, with Dr. Jaq Mulya as the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱-𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗿.

The Jaq Mulya Campaign Organization acknowledges this resolution and reaffirms our commitment to the African Democratic Congress and to the unity of Sankera. Our focus remains on delivering representation rooted in security, youth empowerment, and development for Katsina-Ala, Ukum, and Logo.

The work now is to move forward into the primaries to ratify this consensus decision, and push ahead into the general elections where we expect the support and votes of our people to secure victory for Sankera.

Yesterday in Abuja, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗝𝗮𝗾 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘆𝗮, 𝗣𝗵𝗗 officially picked his Expression of Interest and Nomination Form to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Katsina-Ala, Ukum and Logo Federal Constituency under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

This was not about ceremony. It’s about commitment.

For years, Sankera has waited for representation that puts security first, fights for our youths, brings development home and unites our people. With this step, we move from conversation to action.

To every farmer in Logo, trader in Katsina-Ala, student in Ukum, and mother in the villages who has held on to hope, this is for you.

The next phase begins: mobilization, engagement, and a campaign rooted in the real issues of our people. We will not be distracted. We will not be silenced.

Thank you to the leaders, women, and youths who stood with us yesterday. Let’s keep pushing.
