The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has today formally presented the Certificate of Return to Alhaji Muhammad Kabir K**a Kasa as its duly elected candidate for the Kano State Governorship election.

This milestone is a clear testament that the wind of change is blowing across Kano and Nigeria ahead of 2027. It reflects the yearning of the good people of Kano for credible, competent, and people-oriented leadership that will restore dignity, security, and prosperity to the state.

Today, 17th June 2026 – In continuation of the ongoing courtesy visits to PDP local government executives across Kano State, a delegation led by the Kano Central Vice Chairman, Hon. Umar Sa’ad, today paid a working visit to Gezawa, Minjibir, and Ungogo Local Government Areas.

The delegation included Hon. Miko Isyaku, Kano State Publicity Secretary, and a representative of the State Women Leader. The visit was conducted under the leadership of the duly elected Kano State PDP Chairman, Hon. Yusuf Ado Kibiya.

During the meetings, key issues concerning the progress, unity, and grassroots mobilization of the party were discussed. The executives of Gezawa, Minjibir, and Ungogo LGAs expressed delight over the visit and commended the state leadership for its inclusive approach. They reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the progress of the party under the stewardship of Hon. Yusuf Ado Kibiya.

The delegation prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the party success and victory in the upcoming general elections.
