Kano State 2026 Debt Sustainability Analysis/Medium Term Debt Management Strategy:

Day 1:

I had the honour and privilege to lead the relevant stakeholders from Government, Development Partners, Academia, Civil Society Organizations, etc to develop the 2025 Kano State Debt Sustainability Analysis/Medium Term Debt Management Strategy.

The workshop aims to highlight the key debt parameters and their applicability in sustaining our various debt portfolios in the State. It is a fora for showcasing the financial strengths of the state in timely repaying its financial obligations more specifically from FAAC monthly allocations.

I sincerely appreciate the efforts of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kano State Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf for given us the opportunity to undertake this annual legal mandate.
