THE REASONS WHY NIGERIANS (ELECTORATES) SHOULD VOTE FOR ATIKU ABUBAKAR AS PRESIDENT IN THE FORTHCOMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION-FEB, 2023.
COMPARISM BETWEEN ATIKU ABUBAKAR AND BOLA AHMAD TINUBU AS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR THE FEB, 25TH 2023 ELECTION.
The comparism aims at making simple analysis but with critical assessment between the two presidential Candidates, who is more credible and viable in the election.
My perception and that of the most Nigerians made me to believe that ATIKU ABUBAKAR is more credible and viable candidate to be elected due to the following reasons; as follows:
1. FOR NATIONAL UNITY
The essence of practicing federalism in any liberal democracy is to unite the people of the country and accommodate diversities of that country (Unity in diversity). Nigeria as the biggest country in Africa, with a Population of about 217,000,000 millions and more than 600 different languages is blessed with so many diversities, ethnic, religious, cultural and even economic diversities. The country is in need of a credible, vibrant and experience Administrator to be it's President, like ATIKU ABUBAKAR who can unite the people, provide strong security, employment opportunities, qualitative Education, adequate health and health facilities and Economic growth and stability.
On the Issue of unity, there is a popular slogan for Unity in Nigeria, which is call WAZOBIA. ATIKU ABUBAKAR is the most qualified and practicable WAZOBIA by his relationship in Nigeria, because he is the only leader among the Nigerian leaders who is WAZOBIA by relationship. He married from a Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo and Fulani tribes in Nigeria.
This is a clear sign of unity and tolerance and it shows that he carries every body along irrespective of religion, tribe, ethnic groups in his life. Unlike BOLA AHMAD TINUBU who is married to his tribal sentiment, he is for Yoruba tribe only. He does not believe in the peaceful coexistence between Nigerians. I could remember when He was quoted saying "I don't believe in one Nigeria" (THISDAY NEWSPAPER, of April 13th 1997).
2. CAPACITY TO RULE:
ATIKU ABUBAKAR is the most capable, healthy and energetic person among the presidential candidates while, BOLA AHMAD TINUBU seems to be physically and mentally partially not alright. For instance, mentally what he did during Campaign in Kebbi, Bayelsa and Ekiti states where he called some people with different names and positions. And physically, what he did in Kano during Campaign he could not stand until when he was helped by some people, he couldn't make a single meaningful sentence so as to address the crowd. How could somebody like him be allowed to rule Nigeria.
3. ECONOMIC GROWTH AND STABILITY.
ATIKU ABUBAKAR is a renown business tycoon who knows the value of business and business activities. The WAZIRI of Adamawa in his intention to provide job opportunities to Nigerians, he was able to establish multi-giant international cooperation such as; Faro bottling company, shipping companies and so on in which he employed About 80 thousands Nigerians irrespective of their tribal and religious background. Also he has the intention to inject about 10Billon US Dollars which is equivalent to 7.6Trillions Nigerian Naira into business and commercial activities especially small scale industry for the revival of the economy. He Stated this in Kano during his presidential campaign. While BOLA AHMAD TINUBU when he came to Kano for campaign, he did not mention any economic developmental plan for state and other parts of Northern Nigeria. In addition, BOLA AHMAD TINUBU invited Hajiya Naja'atu Muhammad a prominent Politician in Nigeria from Kano for a meeting at London, when she ask him, what are his developmental plan for Kano and other parts of northern Nigeria before she could join for his campaign team? where he told her that, he doesn't have any at hand, until when he won an election, then he will see what to do. After all, he has a good plan for his people. His target is mainly focus on Lagos State and other Yoruba areas.
4. SECURITY:
When Boka Haram invaded Borno and Yobe states and began to encroach Adamawa State (2010-2014). The WAZIRI of Adamawa; he alone organized civilian guards (Kato da Gora) groups to fight them and completely push them out of the state. While BOLA AHMAD TINUBU, when he was the Executive Governor of his State, when there was a serious tribal crises between OODUA PEOPLE'S CONGRESS (OPC) and other non-indigenes in Lagos State (Hausa, Ibgo and other tribes), as the chief security of the state, he could not provide security for the non-indigenes when thousands of those non-indigenes especially Northerners and Igbos were killed. Perhaps this might be related to tribal sentiment or inability to do so. He who could not control the security of a single state, how could he provide security for the nation.
On the whole, ATIKU ABUBAKAR is most capable and credible Candidate to be voted in the forthcoming Election Feb, 2023.
He can deliver what he is voted for in accordance with the needs and demands of Nigerians. I believe most of the Nigerians will concur with me that ATIKU ABUBAKAR can provide:
1. National Unity
2. Good security
3. Economic growth and stability
4. Qualitative Education
5. Adequate health and health facilities
6. Employment opportunities.
7. Solution to the Naira Redesign problems.
8. Solution to the petroleum problems
