The contract was signed yesterday (Friday) and contractor mobilized to site today (Saturday).

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Kano State Hospitals Management Board wishes to inform the general public that His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Executive Governor of Kano State, has graciously approved the rehabilitation and modernization of the Hasiya Bayero Paediatric Hospital to meet contemporary paediatric standards.

Accordingly, paediatric free services have been temporarily relocated to the Paediatric Unit of Marmara Maternity Hospital, while paediatric admissions will now take place at Mile Tara Unit of Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, effective today Saturday, 11th October, 2025, for a period of four (4) weeks.

The Board regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the general public as the government continues to improve healthcare delivery in the state.

The government of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf remains steadfastly committed to the well-being of the people of Kano State and to ensuring access to quality healthcare for all.
