Today is the day we pay respect to our beautiful nation Nigeria and our beloved state. It's also a day we celebrate our founding fathers for fighting hard to build our heritage of freedom. As we reflect on the sacrifices and achievement of our greatest heroes, it's important to make a solemn resolution to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our state and country as a whole, by upholding the ideals of peace and love for one another irrespective of our tribe, religion, sectional and political affiliation. As you celebrate Nigeria at 63 and Gombe at 27, it is my wish that this independence will be special for you and your loved ones.
