The Hon Commissioner & Administrator, Phoebe Sukai Yayi hosted Her Excellency, The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, represented by the Hon. Abubakar Buba, Commissioner Ministry Of Environment and Natural Resources Kaduna to the 2024 Tree Planting Exercise & Inspection of Refuse Collection & solid waste management in Kafanchan.

The flag off and inspection was significant as it furthers His Excellency Senator Uba Sani The Governor of Kaduna State Administration’s vision on rural development, clean and green metropolises. We thank all our Royal Fathers and all guest who attended and also planted a tree. PLANT A TREE TODAY, PROTECT OUR EARTH & FUTURE TOMORROW!!

The Hon Commissioner and Administrator Phoebe Sukai Yayi was present at the last flag off of OPERATION KEEP KMA CLEAN special waste management intervention campaign at Zango Kataf LGA. Vegetation control, drainage desilting and waste evacuation activities are ongoing.
We still implore all residents to take ownership and protect your environment.

As part of the sustained efforts of His Excellency,
Senator Uba Sani to foster rural development, the Hon Commissioner and Administrator, Phoebe Sukai Yayi
flagged off the special waste management intervention in the Kafanchan Municipal Area: 'OPERATION KEEP KMA CLEAN'!

This project hopes to cover the municipal area of Jema'a, Kaura and Zango Kataf LGAs through drainage desilting, vegetation control, waste evacuation and more. Our vision with this Waste Management Plan is to become one of the nation's cleanest cities, paving the way for more sustainable development in other sectors.
The Hon Commissioner and Administrator, Phoebe Sukai Yayi, calls on all residents in the Municipality to support this initiative by keeping their immediate environment clean, and also to call the Municipal Authority Waste Management Department on +234 803 620 6154 to report any collection of waste yet to be evacuated after 24 hours.

DAY 2: welcomed all to the Agro Exhibition showcased agricultural practices, innovations, local foods, variety of products from vendors, farmers from all 13 selected chiefdoms, MSMEs, small-holder farmers, and amongst other companies that were all in attendance.

The Agro Exhibition offered something for the whole family. Vendors had the opportunity to promote their business during the "Buy my market" segment, allowing vendors introduce and describe their products; a kids tour of the exhibition stalls to learn more about other cultures and fun in the kids section.

The Agro Exhibition also offered besides agro economic education, also vocational promotion with fashion, dance and musical performances.

His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, represented by DCOS Admin, Hon Umar Waziri, declared open the first Kaduna Agro Investment Summit and Exhibition, held in Kafanchan to emphasize that Kaduna holds the key potential to become the Agricultural capital of the nation. The summit organized in collaboration with Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency - KADIPA, brought together industry experts, policymakers, entrepreneurs, smallholder farmers, and other vendors.
