⚽ Paul Scholes Questions Patrick Dorgu’s Role in Manchester United’s System ⚽

During a recent YouTube chat with fans, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes spoke about the signing of Patrick Dorgu, who joined the club from Lecce for ÂŁ30 million in January 2025.

Scholes expressed some doubts about how Dorgu fits into Ruben Amorim’s tactical system. He said,
"You know, his wing-backs like Mazraoui, Dalot or Dorgu, they get acres and acres of space, but once they get into the final third, there’s no quality."

He added,
"I think maybe you bring someone who's more thinking of attacking rather than defending. Dorgu is more of a defensive player, so that might not be quite what’s needed."

On how this affects the team’s attacking threat, Scholes observed,
"It’s a difficult one because the wing-back role requires you to defend but also be a winger in the final third. You want someone who can really run at defenders and create chances."

Scholes also pointed out the challenges with the current setup:
"It’s confusing for us fans, but Amorim knows his system well. The wing-backs need to contribute more going forward, and right now, that’s lacking."

What do you think? Does Dorgu have what it takes to thrive in this system, or does United need to rethink their wing-back options? Drop your thoughts below! 👇

🧤 Paul Scholes on Why Manchester United Might Struggle to Sell Goalkeeper André Onana 🧤

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes recently opened up about the club’s goalkeeper situation in a video chat with fans. While some supporters are frustrated with Onana’s mistakes, Scholes reminds us that the young keeper is still developing and has potential.

He pointed out that Onana was brilliant for Inter Milan before joining United but has faced a tough couple of seasons. Scholes emphasized the importance of patience and hopes Onana can regain his best form soon. After all, good goalkeepers are hard to find and replace.

Scholes also mentioned that with United’s current budget, it might be wiser to back Onana rather than splashing cash on a new goalkeeper. The focus, he said, should be on strengthening other areas of the squad.

What do you think? Should Manchester United keep faith in Onana or look elsewhere between the sticks? âš˝??

📸💙 | JADON SANCHO SAYS GOODBYE TO CHELSEA

Jadon Sancho has officially bid farewell to Chelsea after the end of his loan spell from Manchester United. The winger took to X to thank everyone at the club:

“Grateful for this experience. Much love to everyone at Chelsea who made me feel at home – from my teammates and coaching staff to the fans. I wish the club all the best for the future. Truly grateful. Thank you, Blues 💙👋”

Sancho featured 42 times for the Blues this season, scoring 5 goals and providing 8 assists across all competitions. His standout performances in Europe and the Premier League earned him praise from fans and pundits alike.

Despite his strong impact, Chelsea and Sancho could not agree on personal salary terms, leading to the breakdown of a potential permanent deal. He is now set to return to Manchester United and assess other opportunities.

Wishing Jadon all the best in the next chapter of his career! đź’«

🔴 Bruno Fernandes Breaks Silence on Man United, Al-Hilal & His Future! 🇵🇹⚽️

🎙️ "Our season was very tough. We weren’t able to achieve our goals. That’s a negative. I love being here with the national team now. I’m always happy here. I hope we can reach the final."
— Bruno Fernandes on Man United’s 2024/25 campaign

🚨🗣️ On turning down a BIG move to Al-Hilal:

"There was an opportunity. The president called me and asked if I wanted to go there. They were waiting for me. I spoke to Amorim — he asked me not to go. They didn’t want to sell me. They do not need the money."

🗣️ More on the Al-Hilal offer:

"It was a very ambitious proposal. The president was fantastic. We never discussed the amount at first — that was with my agent. Then I spoke to my wife and family. She asked me what my goals were.

It would’ve been an easy move — João Cancelo is there, our kids are close. But I want to stay at the highest level. I still feel capable of playing in the biggest competitions."

🔥 Bruno’s loyalty to top-level football remains strong — despite the money on offer!

📲 What do you think —
Should Bruno have made the move to Al-Hilal? Or did he make the right call?

Chelsea to Pay ÂŁ5m To Man. United as Jadon Sancho Departs After Loan Deal Breaks Down

Jadon Sancho will officially leave Chelsea at the end of June after the club failed to reach an agreement with the Manchester United winger over personal terms, according to a report by David Ornstein of The Athletic.

The England international had been on loan at Chelsea for the 2024/2025 season but will return to Manchester United before pursuing a permanent move elsewhere.

Chelsea are now set to pay a £5 million penalty to Manchester United as part of the loan agreement that included a purchase option. The two clubs were reportedly open to making the transfer permanent, but talks broke down over Sancho’s personal demands.

Sancho, 25, had a productive spell at Stamford Bridge during the 2024/2025 campaign, featuring in 42 matches across all competitions and playing a total of 2,425 minutes.

He scored 5 goals and provided 8 assists in all competitions. In the Premier League alone, he made 26 appearances and scored 5 goals. Notably, Sancho had an impressive run in the UEFA Europa Conference League, netting 5 goals in just 5 appearances, while also featuring twice in the FA Cup.

Despite his contributions, Chelsea opted not to trigger a permanent deal, and the winger will now evaluate his next move. Sancho is expected to explore options in both England and across Europe, with several top-tier clubs reportedly monitoring his situation.

The winger’s time at Chelsea marked a notable resurgence following a difficult period at Manchester United, where he had been sidelined under Erik ten Hag. The loan spell was seen as an opportunity to revive his career, and he did manage to restore some of his form and confidence.

Ruben Amorim on Luke Shaw after Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth:

"It wasn’t the plan to keep him on for 90 minutes, but when you need to win games, you don’t think about the next one. We lost Dalot, and Luke’s quality in the final third was important for us. It was a risk, but we believe he’ll be ready for the next matches."

🚨 Five Reasons Why Ruben Amorim Is Wrong to Keep Bruno Fernandes at Manchester United 🚨

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has shut down rumors of Bruno Fernandes leaving for Real Madrid, insisting that the Portuguese star is staying. “We want to win the Premier League again, so we want the best players to continue with us,” Amorim said.

But is keeping Bruno the right decision? Here are five reasons why letting him go might actually be better for United:

🔴 Age & Playing Style – Bruno is approaching 30, and Amorim’s high-intensity system thrives on younger, more energetic players. Can he keep up long-term?

💰 His Wages – At over €300,000 per week, Bruno is one of the club’s highest earners. With Financial Fair Play (FFP) and Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) in play, selling him could ease financial pressure.

⚽ Blocking Young Talent – Rising stars like Kobbie Mainoo, Toby Collyer, and Tyler Fletcher need opportunities. Keeping Bruno limits their development and game time.

📢 Media Scrutiny – Despite being one of United’s best players, Bruno is constantly criticized by the English press. A fresh start elsewhere might be what he needs.

🌍 A New Challenge – At 29, Bruno could still secure a big move and test himself in a new league. Would a transfer be best for both him and United?

What do you think? Should United keep Bruno or let him go? 🤔⬇️

"I have not spoken to [Chelsea] much recently at all. I am not there so seeing all these players going, there is nothing I can say or do. At the end of the day, I'm focused on the [Leverkusen] here and trying to help as much as possible. Whatever happens in the future, I do not know. All I can do is focus on what happens here [at Bayer Leverkusen]."
