HON. HWELLENG CONGRATULATES BARR. J K CHRIS AND OTHER NEWLY ELECTED LG CHAIRMEN

HON. HWELLENG who was also a contestant for the office of the chairmanship but in the spirit of sportsmanship, step down, described the outcome of the LG election in the state as a testament of acceptance of the people Democratic party and it's candidates across Plateau State.

He said supporting JK. Chris in Jos North was never a mistake and has been validated by the overwhelming votes cast in his favour at the poll.

He called on Barr. JK Chris and all other newly elected chairmen and councillors across the 17 LGAs in the state to uphold the trust of the people by delivering devidends of democracy that will stand the test of time. He said THE TIME IS NOW to write your names in the golden book of history to be remembered by generations to come.

He also salute His Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang for keeping his promise of delivering free, fair and credible election, calling on Plateau people not to relent in their support for the government at all levels.
