Sayyiduna Khalid ibn Walid fought numerous battles yet overcame his enemy each time. He frightened the evil and crushed the Byzantines army which was as large as 150 thousand men whilst the Muslims numbered 16-20 thousand men and had very little provision. When the Roman King saw the Muslims, he mocked Sayyiduna Khalid and said, "Look at your army! They are weak, frail and poor. Return to Madinah and I'll you give you food and wealth for two years." The Sword of Allah refused and said he would not return to Madinah without seeing the Romans being overcome and brought to their knees. The Muslims were victorious. Sayyiduna Khalid said that he kept the Prophet's noble hair ﷺ in his cap during expeditions and through its blessings, Allah would grant him victory. رضى الله عنه

If this is the power and blessings that Allāh placed in a single hair of Rasulallah ﷺ, how can we ever comprehend what He placed in the entire person of our Beloved ﷺ? We were a people that were honoured and elevated through Islam. The moment we sought honour from everyone and everything besides Allah - we were defeated and disgraced across the world. May Allah rectify us and fix our states.

Yes, Nisa 🌸 this ḥadīth is very deep and often misunderstood, so let me explain it step by step with context.

The narration you quoted is from Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (Hadith 2128), where the Prophet ﷺ described some categories of people he saw in a vision of the Hellfire. Among them he mentioned:

> “Women who are clothed yet naked, walking with an enticing gait, with their heads looking like the humps of camels, leaning to one side. They will not enter Paradise nor even smell its fragrance, though its fragrance can be detected from a great distance.”

1. “Clothed yet naked”

Scholars explained this as women who wear clothing that is revealing, tight, or see-through — covering the body but still exposing the shape or skin.

It can also mean being “clothed in blessings” but “naked of piety and modesty.”

2. “Walking with an enticing gait”

This refers to walking in a seductive, showy way to attract attention. Islam encourages modesty for both men and women, and forbids deliberately drawing unlawful attention through movement.

3. “Heads like the humps of camels, leaning to one side”

This is explained as hairstyles where hair is gathered and piled high on the head, resembling the hump of a camel.

Some scholars also said it refers to extravagant head coverings or styles that exaggerate appearance.

4. The Warning

The Prophet ﷺ warned that such behavior leads to being deprived of Paradise unless one repents.

The phrase “will not smell its fragrance” is a strong expression showing how severe this sin is, because normally the fragrance of Jannah can be smelled from a very far distance.

5. Wisdom Behind It

This isn’t about fashion alone — it’s about:

Lack of modesty (in dress, movement, or attitude).

Pride and showing off.

Imitating styles that contradict Islamic values.

Islam protects dignity by discouraging behaviors that turn women (or men) into objects of attraction in public.

✨ But remember, Nisa: this warning is not a curse on all women. It’s a guidance to protect

6 Sunnahs to Perform After a Child is Born (According to the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW)

1. Tahneek (تحنيك)
Rub a softened date (or something sweet) on the baby’s palate to welcome them with barakah.

2. Adhaan & Iqamah

Recite Adhaan in the right ear

Recite Iqamah in the left ear
A way to spiritually welcome the child into Islam.

3. Naming the Child
Give a beautiful and meaningful name—preferably on the 7th day.
Names of Prophets or righteous believers are encouraged.

4. Aqiqah (عقيقة)
Slaughter an animal as a form of gratitude:

2 sheep for a boy, 1 sheep for a girl
Distribute the meat among family and the needy.

5. Shaving the Head
Shave the baby’s head on the 7th day and give charity in silver equal to the hair’s weight.

6. Circumcision (Khitan)
Recommended for boys. Should be done in early childhood as a sign of purity and cleanliness.

-Bonus Tip:
All of these acts are full of blessings and help start your child’s life upon the fitrah (natural way of Islam).
