Wonderful Leaders, Members and Supporters of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo at the Osinbajo Grassroots Organization,
Today is a very defining moment in the life of our nation and our desire to meaningfully offer the best opportunity to elect one of our best tested and proven leaders towards deepening governance and leadership opportunities ahead of the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
We jointly believe, that with his pedigrees and track record, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria's Vice President, offers the best, sterling and quality policy and foresight direction through which our Nation could be delivered at the primary of the APC which was won by another aspirant earlier today.
We are concerned, that the outcome of the presidential primary may have diminished the morale of many of us, but I dare say, that it aptly reflects the nature of the Nigerian in us. Poverty has been greatly weaponized that the bravest of us may not garner enough strength to resist the lure that the exercise brought with it.
Our experience is another challenge that strikes on our determination to never give up on Nigeria; and a renewed call on the men and women of conscience to reclaim the dignity of the democratic process by pursuing the national reorientation process. We dare not give up!
I am pleased that when we called on you, not only did you heed our call, but you demonstrated strong conviction, patriotic trust and commitment, for the freedom through which you sacrificed tenaciously while holding to this crucial vision up till this moment.
Let me confess, that your support, encouragement, motivation, and your sacrifice really got us going; it inspired us and indeed was the assurance that with you, that hope for a new Nigeria is possible.
I must let you know, that regardless of the outcome of this contest, I am profoundly proud of you. We jointly dared the odds; we inspired a new hope; we are indeed the New Tribe Nigerians; a set of patriots with the passion of a new generation of optimists. I am proud of you!
It is now obvious to us, that although Prof. Osinbajo will not be on the ballot next year, but the Osinbajo Grassroots Organization, OGO, will remain unbending in promoting the legacies of this rare, reputable, distinguished and urbane Nigerian rare statesman, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
My words may indeed be insufficient to express my heart's appreciation; I therefore urge, that you accept my sincere gratitude, and rest assured, that I am proud of our partnership of these years, and if the opportunity presents itself again, I trust we will stay together as true Comrades that we are to undertake this again.
