ONIKOYI Pays Unexpected Inspection Visit to Road Construction Site.

The Executive Chairman of Ipokia LG, Hon Wale Agbetokun Onikoyi early this morning visits one of the ongoing road construction sites in Ipokia Local Government. Engineers have been working on several roads within the Local Government to ease vehicular and produce movements as a mandate given by His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR. Many had thought it was the usual deceit games of the previous administration where such projects were used to canvass votes while engineers were demobilized immediately after Elections but alas, people are dazed to see engineers back on the roads after the election breaks.

This is Ipokia-Odan Popo-Araromi road linking Ipokia to Araromi Onfo through Odan Popo. While inspecting the project, the Council Boss urged the engineers to expedite actions as the people of Ipokia LG have worked hard to come second in the volume of votes for the ruling party APC across Ogun State and very expectant of more dividends of democracy.

He used the medium to thank the people for investing their time and energy in changing the electoral narratives of Ipokia LG as they voted overwhelmingly for all the Candidates of APC including the Ogun State House of Assembly which used to come from Oppositions in the past. He assured the good people of Ipokia LG of more legacy projects as the second term of Prince Dapo Abiodun is surely more promising with .

Happy Easter!!!

As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I felicitate our Christian Brothers and Sisters across Ipokia Local Government on the occasion of the Easter celebration.

May we gain bountifully from the acts of sacrifice that preclude the celebrations and remain spiritually strong to lead a meaningful life and reside in the paradise with the lord in the end.

I wish everyone a peaceful Easter celebration as I pray God spare our lives to celebrate many more Easters in joy, abundance and good health.

For the Security and Wellbeing of Ipokia LG People; Solidifying the Ties!!!

Security of lives and property is the very essence of government at all levels and indeed Ipokia Local Government consolidates on this. Having previously received the DPO's of Ipokia and Idiroko Divisions, we received, the Circuit Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps Idiroko hours ago Mr Akinwunmi Olaluwoye on a courtesy visit.

The security bosses discussed extensively their various strategies in ensuring synergy with Chief Security Officer of Ipokia Local Government and Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon Wale Agbetokun ONIKOYI. It has been indeed wonderful meeting the various professional security chiefs with whom various aspects of our security lives are marshalled. We used the occasion of the FRSC Boss to appeal to our drivers, commuters and road users to exercise great caution while using the roads so as to curtail the rate of accidents which send valuable lives to early graves.

The FRSC Boss assures the Council of more collaborations and partnership as safety of road users and their movable property remain key in the agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR and Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR.
