Kwara govt to buy generator worth N180m for Gov AbdulRazaq’s residence

The Kwara State Government has earmarked N180 million for the purchase and installation of a soundproof generator at the residence of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in Ilorin, budget documents have shown.

A review of the approved allocation indicates that the project, listed under the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, covers the procurement and installation of one unit of a sandproof 500KVA generator.

The project is valued at N180,000,000 under the equipment category, according to the breakdown contained in the documents.

Further details show that the generating set is specifically designated for use at the governor’s residence, with provisions covering both supply and installation.
