When I woke up I was pondering about life, I discovered that:

Sometimes, to succeed in life you need ENEMIES.... Yes!!!

You need people who will mock you, so that you can run to God.

You need people who will try to intimidate you, so that you can be courageous.

You need people who will say "NO" so that you can learn how to be independent...I mean how to do it yourself.

You need people who will disappoint you so that you can put all your trust in God alone.

You need people who will work towards you loosing that job, so that you can start your own big business.

You need people who will sell your 'Joseph' so that 'you' can get to Egypt and be a Prime Minister in a strange land of captivity.

You need a cruel landlord, so that you won't be too comfortable in someone else's house, then you can build your own house on time.

But sometimes, when we are disappointed, we feel very bad and we tend to remain on that spot. Not knowing that the end-point of disappointment is the beginning of your accomplishments.

Understand this, "that every disappointment you once had came with a blessing!" However, it is not everyone that partakes in this blessing that I'm talking about.

You cannot see a new OPEN door while you are still putting all your attention, time and energy in trying to force the closed one to open.

And again I say, "No disappointment can ever come without an attached blessing!"

So, when the disappointment come, thank God for it and tell "HIM" to open your eyes to see the new blessing that HE has for you!

Disappointment is PHASE1 while accomplishment is PHASE2.I doubt if one can jump the protocols.

That is why it is called BREAKTHROUGH Something must BREAK so that you can go THROUGH!

Encourage someone today....you are lifted.

REALITY OF LIFE

Bill And Jane Studied Accounting in the University. They were both Classmates and after 5 years of studying hard, they both graduated. After graduation, fate took them through different paths of life.

Some years later, Jane after much frustration of securing a job, ended up as a Secretary in a Building firm earning 50,000 Naira monthly.

Meanwhile, Bill on the other hand, couldn't secure a job and ended up a Taxi Driver. He makes at least 5,000 daily and if he works for only 20 days in a month, he makes 100,000 Naira that month.

One Evening, Jane closed from work and was at the bus stop waiting for taxi when Bill stopped for her, she hopped in, when she discovered the taxi was going her way but little did she know it was Bill, all through the journey, she was lost with her phone.

She reached her bus stop and after highlighting, just when she was about paying, she took a look at the driver and their eyes met, wow! They were both happy.

"Is this you?" they both asked themselves simultaneously as if they planned it. Jane gave him money but Bill insisted she keep it. He was happy to see her and for old time sake, he left the money for her even when she insisted that she wanted to pay. They both exchanged contact and left.

Well, Jane went home that night and was lost in thought. Not as if Bill was looking bad but Bill driving Taxi? She couldn't wrap her head around it. She pitied him, felt sorry for him. If Bill had allowed her she would have paid him and beg him to keep the change.

Little did she know that, Bill actually has another Taxi running for him, He is a landlord already but because he was driving a Taxi, she felt pity for him.

On the other hand, Bill felt sorry for himself too. Before he slept that night, he remembered Jane, how neatly she dressed and nice she smells, "She must be earning over 300,000 Naira per month" he said to himself. He felt sshamed, he felt like a failure and he felt she was way ahead of him financially and otherwise.

Little did he know that, If Jane removes her transportation fare and feeding money from her monthly salary, it will take her at least 3 months to earn what he earns monthly.

Sadly, this is some of our reality, you measure your progress and success with that of your friends, classmates and relatives even with very limited information you have about them.

You think yours is worse because you look dirtier, you think yours is worse because you are not on cooperate wears, you think yours is worse because the other person acts and looks nicer.

Stay Focused and Face your life. It's not a competition.

Stop comparing things, you don't have the full picture of.

*That a Lion cannot hunt in the ocean doesn't make him useless and that a Shark cannot hunt in the jungle doesn't also make him useless both have their own territory where they can do well*

Don't try to compare yourself to others.* *You also have your own strength, look for it and build on it.* *All animals that exist, were in Noah's ark. A snail is one of those animals. If God could wait long enough for snails to enter Noah's ark; His door of grace won't close till you reach your expected position in life. Never look down on yourself, keep looking up.* *Remember that Broken crayons still colour.*

*Asset vs Liability;*

Son: Dad, may I speak with you?
Dad: Go ahead.
Son: Among all my classmates, I am the only one without a car. It is embarrassing.
Dad: What do you want me to do?
Son: I need a car. I don't want to feel odd.
Dad: Do you have a particular car in mind?
Son: Yes dad (smiling)
Dad: How much?
Son:$2000
Dad: I will give you the money on one condition.
Son: What is the condition?
Dad: You will not use the money to buy a car but invest it. If you make enough profit from the investment, you can go ahead and buy the car.
Son: Deal.

Then, the father gave him a cheque of $2000. The son cashed the cheque and invested it in obedience to the verbal agreement that he had with his father.

Some months later, the father asked the son how he was faring. The son responded that his business was improving. The father left him.

After some months again, the father asked him about his business
again and the son told him that he is making a lot of profit from the business.

When it was exactly a year after he gave him the money, the father asked him to show him how far the business has gone. The son readily agreed and the following discussion took place:

Dad: From this I can see that you have made a lot of money.
Son: Yes dad ~
Dad: Do you still remember our agreement?
Son: Yes
Dad: What is it?
Son: We agreed that I should invest the money and buy the car from the profit.
Dad: Why have you not bought the car?
Son: I don't need the car again. I want to invest more.
Dad: Good. You have learnt the lessons that I wanted to teach you.
~ You didn't really need the car, you just wanted to feel among. That would have placed extra financial obligations on you. It wasn't an asset then; but a liability.
- Two, it is very important for you to invest in your future before living like a king.
Son: Thanks dad.

Then the father gave him the keys of the latest model of that car.

MORALS:
1. Always invest first before you start living the way you want.

2. What you see as a need now may become a want if you can take a little time to get over your feelings.

3. Try to be able to distinguish between an asset and a liability so that what you see as an asset today will not become a liability to you tomorrow.

mean the rose can make a better stew. Don't try to
compare yourself to others. You also have your own
strength, look for it and build on it. All animals that
exist, were in Noah's ark. A snail is one of those
animals. If God could wait long enough for snails to
enter Noah's ark; His door of grace won't close till
you reach your expected position in life. Never look
down on yourself, keep looking up. Remember that
Broken crayons still color_. Keep on pushing, you

A father said to his son: You graduated with honors, here is a car that I acquired many years ago ... it is several years old.
