I joined stakeholders at the one-day engagement on Political Advertising & Campaign Communications, organised by Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) in collaboration with ARCON.

As we look towards 2027, one thing is clear: our information space will get louder, and our responsibility must get greater.

Persuasion and competition are legitimate but misinformation, incitement, illegal billboards and the defacement of public spaces are not.

I appreciate the deliberate support of H.E Mall Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, for strengthening institutions and recognising that good governance is not only about delivery, but also about how we communicate that delivery.

Let’s compete for votes without losing sight of what unites us.

It was a beautiful day of love and celebration as I joined H.E. Kayode Patrick Alabi and my Honourable Colleagues to celebrate the wedding of Oluwatosin, daughter of our Director of Protocol (DOP) to H.E. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, and Babatunde.

I was deeply honoured to serve as the Chairperson of the Day and to witness the coming together of two families in love and unity.

Indeed, we are grateful for this beautiful union and the joy it brings.

To Oluwatosin & Babatunde, as you begin this new chapter, may your home be filled with love, peace, friendship, laughter and endless blessings.

Leadership isn't only about those at the top. Sometimes, it's about pouring into those still finding their footing.

I had a chat with our SIWES students serving across the Ministry. And honestly, it felt personal  because some of my own children are currently undergoing the SIWES training and NYSC service, I see this journey up close. I know what it costs, and I know what it builds.

We talked about excellence not as a big, abstract word, but as small daily habits: discipline, punctuality, intentionality, showing up fully for every opportunity, even the ones that seem small.

The Ministry recently designed a framework on what students and corp members should be taught while working with us because you cannot come to the Ministry and leave exactly as you came. A renewed mindset is key.

The way you carry yourself today  your discipline, your punctuality, your attitude when no one's watching quietly becomes your story. One day, it becomes your reference.

Different Contexts. One Common Aspiration.

Delighted to be part of the International Youth Day 2026 at the Ilorin Innovation Hub bringing together young Kwarans from across the 16 LGAs to celebrate their ideas, talents, resilience and potential.

From Innovation and entrepreneurship to agriculture, skills and sports, the young people are partners in building Kwara today.

The celebration featured inspiring conversations, a youth-in-agriculture panel, cultural performances, health screening and recognition of individuals contributing to youth development.

H.E Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq commitment in creating an enabling environment where young Kwarans can turn ideas into opportunities, talent into livelihoods, and aspirations into impact remains unrivalled.

As the Commissioner also overseeing Arts, Culture and Tourism, it always a delight witnessing the beauty, rhythm and richness of our culture with the Kwara State Cultural Troupe at the State Banquet to Welcome all the Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities to Kwara State.

A beautiful reminder that our creative economy is not just about entertainment, it is about identity, heritage, talent and the power of culture to connect us. Thank you H.E Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for always supporting the Arts.

Proud to join the State Dinner as Kwara State hosted the Conference of the Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU).

It was a privilege to welcome university leaders from across Nigeria to Kwara and be part of an evening centred on leadership, knowledge, collaboration and the future of higher education. Sharing our developments and strides in Tertiary Education under the leadership of Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq was indeed a delight for the Academia.

Beyond conversations, Kwara continues to position itself as a destination for important national conversations and transformative engagements.

Breakfast Conversations, Big Ideas

It was a pleasure to have an engaging Breakfast Chat at the Ilorin Innovation Hub to share experiences and have meaningful conversations with young people and emerging leaders around leadership, innovation and personal growth.

I shared parts of my personal journey the experiences that shaped me, the challenges I encountered, the lessons I learned, and the milestones that continue to remind me of the power of purpose and perseverance.

My takeaway: your journey does not have to be perfect to be impactful. Resilience, continuous learning, courage and a clear sense of purpose can transform both a career and a life.

Today, I join young people across the world to celebrate International Youth Day.

The world is changing fast. And young people are not just beneficiaries of that change, we are drivers of it.

My question to every young person is what would you do differently if given the opportunity because the future isn't somewhere we are going.

The future is something we are building, TODAY.

Happy International Youth Day to every young person daring to believe that Nigeria can be better, and choosing to become part of making it better.
