Office of the Special Adviser on Civic Engagement Felicitates Kwarans, Offers New Month Prayers

The Office of the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kwara State on Civic Engagement has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Kwara State and Nigerians as they usher in the month of June.

In a goodwill message, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Civic Engagement, Amb. Umulkhaer Onaolamipo Ahmed Alaiye, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for His continued mercy, protection, and blessings upon the state and its people.

She noted that the commencement of a new month presents another opportunity for growth, progress, and renewed hope, urging citizens to remain optimistic and committed to the collective development of Kwara State.

According to her, prayers have been offered for peace, prosperity, good health, success, and abundant blessings for every family across the state. She also prayed for divine wisdom for leaders at all levels, greater unity among communities, and sustained progress in the state's developmental agenda.

Amb. Alaiye further encouraged residents to continue upholding the values of peace, mutual respect, civic responsibility, and active participation in initiatives that foster growth and advancement across the state.

She expressed confidence that the new month would usher in fresh opportunities, breakthroughs, favour, and remarkable accomplishments for the people of Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Special Adviser concluded by wishing all citizens a happy and fulfilling new month, expressing hope that June would bring peace, prosperity, and continued progress to the state.

The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has endorsed the economic reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while calling for a new national minimum wage of N100,000.

AbdulRazaq said the proposed wage reflects current economic realities and the need to improve workers’ welfare amid rising living costs. He noted that state governments are actively engaging with the Federal Government and labour unions to reach a sustainable agreement.

The NGF’s position signals growing support among governors for the Federal Government’s reform agenda, even as pressure mounts for policies that cushion the impact on Nigerians.

Amb. Umulkhaer Onaolamipo Ahmed Alaiye Describes SYD’s Endorsement as a Major Political Milestone for Kwara

Ilorin, Kwara State — The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kwara State on Civic Engagement, Amb. Umulkhaer Onaolamipo Ahmed Alaiye, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Engr. Saliu Yakubu Danladi (SYD) on his endorsement as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate in Kwara State, describing the development as a significant political milestone and a clear affirmation of the people’s trust in progressive leadership.

Speaking with KwaraCast Media, Amb. Alaiye said the endorsement reflects the confidence reposed in Rt. Hon. Engr. Saliu Yakubu Danladi’s leadership capacity, political strength, dedication to service, and unwavering commitment to the continued progress and development of Kwara State.
