NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF ALL CONGRESS AND AFFILIATE UNIONS GATHERING IN LAGOS

In view of the social distancing recommendation against the pandemic COVID-19 popularly known as corona virus and the government's ban on any gathering above 50 in Lagos state, I have the directive of the state chairperson to inform all affiliate unions that the directive of the State Government in containing the corona virus outbreak be strictly complied with.

Consequently, the State Administrative Council (SAC) implores the leadership of all affiliate unions to shun any gathering, conferences,meetings e.t.c from Monday, 23rd March, 2020 till further notice.

I am to add that affiliate unions should device means other than physical contact to continuously sensitise members on WHO's recommendations how to stay safe at this critical time.
