*WHO’S PANICKING? DR. GEORGE MOGHALU HAS ARRIVED!*
Ndi Anambra, daalunu. I bring good tidings as we await the liberation of our dear State which is bound to happen on November 8.
As Ndi Anambra are happy with how the most grass-rooted, organic political party in Nigeria conducted themselves during their gubernatorial primary which threw up Chief Dr George Moghalu (Ohamadike Nnewi, Ohamadike Global) as the party's candidate, many good Anambraians are since Saturday jubilating and thanking Almighty God for the golden opportunity for a brand new governor that understands that "Umu Anambra" are not supposed to be subjected to pestle-wielding uninformed touts known as "Ndi Aka Odo" for government revenue collection.
While some (in the minority) are in panic mood trying to put a wedge and stumbling block to this people oriented and divinely predestined mission.
But let’s be honest and gwa onwe anyi eziokwu; some people are still trying to recover from the shock of last Saturday’s Labour Party primary in Anambra. Did they see it coming? For where! Especially one of them wey call his name Mkpisi Ode, abi wetin sef!
And now they’re scrambling, spreading tales like “Labour Party has no strong candidate.” Please, who are they trying to fool?
Let’s set the record straight: Chief Dr. George Moghalu emerged as the clear winner of that primary. It wasn’t by chance, it wasn’t stage-managed—it was earned through credibility, structure, and quiet groundwork. Moghalu like what Onye Amuma Isaiah said, "make the Lord's way to be straight; every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low..." Ohamadike Nnewi made the way straight as the only candidate that went round the State consulting with party people at the grassroot from Aguata to Ayamelum and from Ogbaru down to all the ime obodo Anambra State; pleading with the delegates to look in his way during the primaries.
So for those asking “who is he?”, a quick search will help—but since I'm here, let me educate you.
The labour party Governorship Candidate, Dr. George Moghalu came second in the 2003 Anambra governorship election—yes, the same one where Peter Obi took first place, Dr. Moghalu defeated the then incumbent governor HE late Chinwoke Mbandinauju who came third in that election.
Now, let’s talk credentials. Dr. Moghalu isn’t just a politician—he’s a boardroom veteran, a private sector powerhouse with serious local and international networks, known for strategy, substance, and class. Nwoke bu odogwu and got the grassroots covered and the elite comfortable. That’s not something you fake. The doubting Thomases should go and check his outstanding success as the Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) make dem use their eyes do Christmas for themselves.
So when hungry people like pen of the gods start murmuring about “Labour Party planning another primary”—you already know they’re just looking for ways to unsettle a process that has clearly unsettled them. The truth? The party has chosen. Dr. Moghalu is the candidate, and he’s making more than a few people nervous—and rightly so.
He doesn’t shout. He doesn’t grandstand. But when he moves, things shift. His leadership style is calm, confident, and deeply experienced. The kind Anambra actually needs right now. Anambra cholu nwere obi mmadu and not obi aka odo. Never!
Because, let’s be real: leadership is not about thuggery or who can throw the loudest insults or initiate fights. It’s about vision, maturity, structure, and results—and that’s exactly what Dr. Moghalu brings to the table.
So to those still throwing tantrums online or whispering in corners especially one so called Mkpisi, pen of the gods who is just seeking mere attention to justify little token paid to him should just relax. The Labour Party is not confused. Egwu ebidosia. Ohamadike has landed, and the race has officially changed.
Dr. George Moghalu isn’t just a candidate—he’s a political dimkpa that will make "Anambra ka o dikwa mma ozo".
