63rd Nigeria Independence Anniversary; A Worthy Celebration.
Today, first as a proud Nigerian and secondly as an elected public officer, I share in the joy of celebrating my great country’s independence anniversary. Today, I have decided to celebrate our many wins against our failures, bearing in mind that all nations of the world undergoes tumultuous moments at every point in time. I celebrate today, because like a journey through a tunnel, a bright light awaits Nigeria.
As we mark the 63rd anniversary of dear Nation, I most respectfully call on every Nigerians that despite travails and hiccups, our journey to this point is a success on its own that should behove us all to revel in the joy of the moment.
I want to remind us Dear people, that no nation has had it so easy, not even the already developed ones, each strong nations go through preparatory troughs to reach their phenomenal crest. And so, for Nigeria, without a scintilla of doubt or skepticism, the Renewed Hope will midwife to us great dividends of immense value that will birth prosperity.
While we complained and bemoan our seeming stagnancy, I want us to reflect on the very many goods we have achieved as a nation, in so many sectors. Each steady steps will definately take us closer to our desired destination. It is a matter of time and of concerted efforts from both the government and the governed.
On behalf of myself and the good people of Ido/Osi Constituency (I), I felicitate with Nigerians both home and abroad, on this auspicious occasion of our nation’s independence anniversary. I want to assure us all that Nigeria will be better especially with the giant strides of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his set of vibrant Ministers that has been appointed to man each relevant Ministries.
Great people, I want to specially appeal that to get Nigeria on her feet, requires us all citizens to dust our corners, be good ambassadors, shun bribery and abhor corruption and we would see that in no distant time, all lines will fall in place. We should not forget that the society we live in also produce the leaders that rules us. When the society is sane, we should expect great leaders with working institutions.
Happy Independence Day Nigerians.
