He was a young college student, a science freak, he had the believe that everything was simple. Dennis was always stuck in the laboratory trying to find solutions. He was seen as a genius but he believed all was simple. No problem was left unsolved by him. He was never the social type.
In one of his researches he found out that he wasn't capable of handling and solving things all by himself. He decided to form a team.
He found Vanessa who is a smoker but when it comes to work she is one of the best biophysical chemist.
He found June who was a very outspoken and social girl but in the field of kinetics and thermodynamics of the reactivities of sulphydryl groups of protein she is a boss.
In the field of molecular spectroscopy and theoretical chemistry, Alexander was the best he could find.
Vanessa, June, Alexander and Dennis formed a team headed by Dennis, they decided to study the reaction kinetics. In their research they knew they were bond to face difficulties but they resolved to having no regrets. They had a lot to do trying to get along with each other,understanding their differences.
Alexander was allergic to cigarette smell, Alexander found it really difficult having to work with Vanessa.Vanessa on her part hates having conversations,she and June always had a difficult time together. Alexander and Dennis loved work,they believed a whole lot of time should be devoted for work and little for pleasure. Dennis had a lot of work to do trying to keep the team together.
Alexander was a pessimist he always saw the negative result of all they do, most times he was always drawing the team back.
Together they successfully studied the mechanism of reactions. The team recorded a great success in their projects.
Dennis discovered that he wouldn't be able to find people who are like minded with him, he discovered that the society is made up of different kind of individuals,he discovered that everyone has their own personality, he learnt that everyone is unique in their own way, he had to see that everyone has their own opinion.
He knew one thing for sure that definitely as a leader he won't be responsible without putting his thought along side with the thought of his team mates.

TITLE:THE TEAM

CHAPTER 4
MYSTERY UNRAVELLED

Mr Marlene your father is my father so we are step sisters' I tried to analyse what I just heard, but mum told me my father left her for a rich woman, so if Laura's mother is rich why is she working here. She claims she is my step sister why is she trying to destroy my image. I tried to wrap my head around it. Is my stepmother now poor or what. Why did Laura treat me that way and why didn't she tell me earlier that she is my stepsister
Eve!! Eve!! The call of my name jolted me out of my thought.
'Eve you think you can be better than me you attend Chrysolite High School while I am a droup out, you dress so nicely and elegantly daily whereas my clothes aren't in vogue. I will do all that it takes to make you suffer just the way I am suffering. You think you are smart Mr Lucas trusts you and I know that he will stop trusting you after this . I have so much painted you as a liar and thief before him. Best of luck as you enjoy your new life in misery' Laura said. Laura,hmmm I sighed,thank you so much, I am happy I have a family and luckily a sister. But why did you choose to let me know this way? We have been working together for so long and you are aware that people call me an orphan still you choose not to inform me that we are related. Laura you have been acting so nicely to me all this while why did you change suddenly. Moreso, I can remember my mother told me that your mother is rich so why did you dropout and why are you here Eve, my mother poisoned Judith your mother where led to her death. Our father Japheth is from a royal family, he loves your mother so much,before meeting your mother he had impregnated my mother and he told her he isn't interested in her and the child, he gave her a huge amount of money to take care of herself and the baby Japheth poised himself has a poor man to Judith, he knew that most women are after the money and royalty attached to him, Judith stayed by him even though he looked poorhe knew she truly loved him. My mother became jealous she came to your house frequently and on one of her visits she poisoned your mother. She seduced Japheth back to her. I guess that explains the story your mother told you. A year after Japheth came back my mother died. When she died he abandoned me he said he never wanted me has his child. He searched for you but couldn't find you. He was always going through your pictures that is why I can recognise you.

Chapter 3A
THE MYSTERY

'Be contented,you cant have it all,
You killed your mother,your father ran from you,
You are now on the verge of ruining Mr Lucas,
Please the greedy orphan,
Be contented.' they sang.

I was down, how could people be this cruel ?, they concluded i stole the goods without even hearing from me no body even trust me, nobody believes me.

I was quiet throughout that day awaiting what i would face at the mall.

Immediately the closing bell was rung i grabbed my backpack and headed for home,i had almost reached the school gate when i saw the same boy i saw at the mall the previous day.

'Hi, I am Miles Lucas' he said
I was so annoyed, is this guy stalking me or what.
'Hey dude, are you stalking me?'i asked
'No Ivory, i aint stalking you'he replied
'I am Eve not Ivory'i yelled
'I know you are going through a lot but you dont have to yell at people'he said.
I was amazed,who the hell is this idiot that has the gut to talk to me this way?, i walked out on him in annoyance

On getting home i was disturbed, who is this guy that is stalking me? What exactly does he want from me?. I hurriedly changed my cloth and headed for the mall.

I arrived at the mall fifteen minutes ahead the time for my resumption. I concluded to sit alone and think about everything that is happening to me, just to while away time.

I thought about everything everyone is saying about me, is it true i killed my mother? Is it true i that my father ran from me? Is it true i carry bad luck? I didnt know i was saying them out loud and Laura was right beside me.
'Yes' Laura said.
'You killed your mother, your father ran away from you. I have a great news for you Mr Marlene your father is my father, we are step sisters and gladly enough i helped you steal the goods we recorded' Laura said

Chapter 2
LAURA MARLENE
One fateful day at the mall a delivery was made. I was supposed to take the record of the new intake but one of my co-workers said she wanted to help. Laura offered help with a motive of destroying my name, a motive of hurting me. I trusted her with the counting while I did the recording. I never knew she manipulated things, I recorded and submitted the intake.

The next day went as usual I was bullied, mocked, I was called names. I was relieved when the closing bell was rung. I hurriedly went home to change into a casual wear before proceeding to the mall where I worked.

I met the greatest shock of my life when I got to my workplace and I was asked to explain all I know about the missing goods.

I was so confused and I went dumb.
'I don't understand you sir' I said
Missing goods!!!! I was like where, when and how did goods go missing and what do I have to do with it.
Mr Lucas who happen to be the owner of Chrisville mall told me that goods worth of fifty thousand yens are missing and I am held responsible because I am the one in charge of taking record of new intakes

I was down, how on earth did the goods that I recorded yesterday go missing and how am I supposed to get fifty thousand yens. I tried to recall all that happened the previous day. I remembered how I and Laura did the recording, I was surprised that the goods went missing, I trusted Laura so much she has always been so nice to me

Mr Lucas gave me seven days to return the missing goods or refund the money for the goods. As I was about to go back home to look for a solution to my problem, I met my timid classmate, he was surprised seeing me. He trued to introduce himself to me but I wasn't in d mood for any introduction , I walked out on him.

On getting home I found out that I had only two thousand yens which I was saving to pay for my school fees, I was so confused I didn't know what to do I know there is no way I can get fifty thousand yens in a week. I had to be strong for myself because I don't have money to spare for hospital bill I f I fall sick.

The next day on getting to school the news about the missing goods at my workplace has spread, students were calling me names likes greedy girl covetous orphan, thief,like the shame want enough on getting to class a group of girls had composed a song for me

Chapter 1
THE TRIAL
I live in the eastern part of Cojad without parents, I lost the greatest woman in the world when I was thirteen. My mother being a single parent once told me that my father left her for a rich woman. My mother,Judith was a babysitter for the Wilsons, that was just her main job anyway she did numerous jobs together just to cater for our needs

She worked at a restaurant as a cleaner, she served as a labourer on a farmland and she also helped the Marshals to take care of their poultry. She had to do everything and despite all she did we weren't so comfortable

From my young age, I understood what hardship meant, I attended the best school in Cojad, I was in my first year in high school when she died

I had always been a subject of ridicule among my mates. I trekked to school, my shoes and bag were torn, my hair always looked unkept, I was just so odd among my mates. Only children of the rich attended Chrysolite high school but my mother wanted the very best for me.

When my mother died. It was like the world was crumbling right in my eyes. I had always wished I was in a dream and I would wake and see my mother again. But I soon realized that it was better I faced reality.

The death of my mother worsened the situation of things, my mates mocked me with no sign of pity. I was alone in the world. I just had to be strong all by myself

I am a coward, I never stood up for myself whenever I was bullied and called names, I felt it was all who I am and what I deserve.

I noticed there was a guy who would always be silent and would not join my classmates in taunting me, he was always sober and had pity written on his face whenever I was mocked. I felt he was also afraid of being bullied

I wanted to drop out of school because there was no sponsor. I had to buy food, clothes, pay house rent and other bills. I was doing an after school job at a mall and the pay was considerate enough. I also helped my neighbour Mrs Maxwell to take care of her dog. I was at least able to fend for myself.

I made myself happy the little way I could,I had no friend. I knew I had a future. I knew I could make my future what i wanted. I knew that with hardwork,discipline,perseverance,honesty,contentment, humility and diligence I could make my future great.

Things were going smoothly until the unexpected happened.
