COMMANDER 301 ARTILLERY REGIMENT GENERAL SUPPORT GOMBE DONATES TROPHIES AND PRIZES TO AMADA CAMP GOMBE STATE.
The Commander of 301 Artillery Regiment (GS) Gombe state,Col SO Beke has reaffirmed the commitment of the military towards the success of the ongoing orientation exercise at Amada NYSC Orientation Camp by sponsoring a colourful parade drill competition for corps members in the ongoing 2026 batch 'A' stream II orientation exercise.
The event, was aimed at promoting discipline, teamwork, endurance and esprit de corps among the 2026 Batch โAโ Stream II corps members.
Speaking during the occasion, the Commander commended the corps members for their impressive display of coordination, smartness and dedication throughout the drills.
He noted that the military remains committed to supporting the objectives of the National Youth Service Corps, particularly in the areas of security, leadership development and nation building.
To encourage excellence and healthy competition, the Commander donated magnificent prizes to the winning platoons and further presented three sets of trophies for future parade competitions in the camp.
The gesture was widely applauded by camp officials and corps members, who described it as timely and motivating.
The State Coordinator,Chinwe Nnenna Nwachuku appreciated the Commander and officers of the Regiment for their unwavering support towards the orientation course, especially in the area of security, parade training and maintenance of discipline in camp. She stated that the collaboration between the Scheme and the military has continued to contribute immensely to the smooth conduct of camp activities.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of trophies and prizes to the outstanding platoons amid cheers from corps members and officials.
- Platoon one emerged winner with a trophy ๐ and cash prize of #50,000
- platoon two took second position with a trophy ๐ and cash prize of #30,000
- platoon six came third with a trophy ๐ and cash prize of #20,000
- The Commander also gave consolidation prizes to other platoons.
