EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO CONTEST FOR MEMBERSHIP OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
With high sense of responsibility and regards, I hereby write to express my interest to contest for membership into the House of Representatives for the Yamaltu – Deba Federal Constituency under the banner of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the forthcoming 2027 General Election in Nigeria. I had previously canvassed twice to run in this capacity under the APC banner. On the first instance, I stepped down and was elected into the State House of Assembly where I represented the good people of Yamaltu – East State Constituency. The wealth of experience gather in the house as a legislature and the civil service has no doubt prepared me for the House of Representatives.
Sir, I am from Gwani, Gwani District, Yamaltu Emirate, Yamaltu-Deba Local Government Area of Gombe State. I am a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) graduate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria and Fellowship of the National Postgraduate College of Nigeria. I was at Federal Government College Minna for my Secondary School.
Sir, I wish to reiterate my previous intents in 2015 and 2019, that the zeal for more progressive, programmatic, proactive and purposeful representation of our dear constituency drove me into this contest. I intend to use my national and global contacts to among other projects and programmes, see to our teeming youths in the labour market, investment opportunities and our abundant natural resources be fully harnessed.
