ON THE #11.49B GOMBE REGIONAL WATER EXPANSION!

It would be fair if Gwani and Kinafa, the main towns that were dislocated by the construction of the dam, are included to be given pipe borne (tap) water. From Dadinkowa to Gombe, all adjoining villages where the Water pipes passed are being supplied with water. Mu da aka kekketa mu muna ta fama! No water, no electricity!!
Me zai Hana daga Dadinkowa, Hinna, Yaranduas, Kalo, Ruwanbiri, Wade, Shinga and Gwani East etc asa pipes for their benefits.
Also from Wajari, Kwali, Difa, (Baure, Zambuk, Lubo, Daban Fulani) a wuce zuwa Hamma Jama'are, Kinafa and Gwani West etc.
Honestly, irin haka ne yake sa a fara Resource Control fah!!! I had made this clear to the previous Government. It is my hope and prayer that the current government would seriously look into the matter and carry out these projects Pari Passu as part of the expansion.

As far as national issues are concerned, I have never in my life felt such heaviness in my heart like the recent past. The glaring and intense show of hatred, clear sentiment and open contempt and disdain to one another along pure ethno-religious line is making me drift into pessimism for our dear nation! As a product of Unity School(Federal Government College), where we grew up devoid of sentiment along Creed or belief, the current comments, posts etc is taking a great toll on my Psyche. In fact it is nauseous when it comes from highly educated individuals or similar products like me. Every human being is precious, Fulani, Bachama, Tiv, Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba or non - Nigerian.
My expectation from all these happenings are;
1. Condemn any killing whether communal, political, extra judicial etc. It doesn't have to be your tribe or religious inclination involved before condemnation.
2. Assist relevant security agencies curtail/ contain the situation.
3. Expose those involved, no matter how highly placed they are.
4. Proffer an amicable and altruistic solution to the problem.
5. Let us always reason with each other during discussions and debates.
Fellow Nigerians,
These repulsive, repugnant and chaotic ventilations and mudslinging would take us to no where. Instead of us to mar, we should make!

LOCAL GOVERNMENT AUTONOMY!

On waking up from my sleep, among the things that came to mind was Local Government Autonomy. The clamour for it in my state of Gombe and the nation in general had long ago reached its crescendo! The ball is now in the court of the states legislatures. From feelers nationwide, majority of the state legislatures would vote for their own autonomy (State Houses of Assemblies autonomy). Can that be said to be the same for Local Government Autonomy? I am afraid to answer this question. Most State Governors do not want both autonomies, but because the legislatures in the States have the final vote, they may not tamper with their own independence (autonomy)! As a member who is absolutely for autonomy, I call on the public and NULGE to closely monitor our sittings until we are done with the constitutional amendment sittings before us. All Local Government Executives to send representatives to all house sittings until this issue is done with. As elected representatives I want to own up that delivering a lot of expectations has being difficult. This is due to either non availability of resources to influence such dividends or shear personal greed on our part. But for this single issue that requires only raising our hands or shouting aye! Haba! Therefore if Gombe State House of Assembly did not pass this amendment, please wait for those of us that voted against or abstained from voting in 2019, from the Speaker down to my humble self!

Legislative duties should be on part time basis! By doing so, only people genuinely interested would via for it. Renumeration/ allowance should also be based on participation (sittings/ oversight and other functions). The less you participate, the less your pay. I call on Nigerians to clamour for this Constitutional amendment!!
