Governor Inuwa Yahaya Attends APC Governors’ Meeting in Kebbi State

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has joined his colleagues under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for a meeting of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) holding in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

The meeting, holding behind closed doors, is being chaired by the PGF Chairman and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

The meeting's agenda centred on national development issues, party affairs and strategies to strengthen the progressive governance agenda across the country.

While in Kebbi, the governors are also expected to participate in the commissioning of the Tinubu/ Kauran Gwandu Movement for Continuity Secretariat, a new political hub established to advance the ideals of continuity and good governance under the APC-led administration.

Host Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris, warmly received his colleagues and expressed delight over the choice of Kebbi State for the strategic meeting, noting that it underpins the unity and shared commitment among APC governors to national progress and party cohesion.

NORTHERN GOVERNORS FORUM CHAIRMAN, OTHERS, AT SULE LAMIDO’S BOOK LAUNCH

Chaired by the former Head of State Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar GCFR as represented by the former INEC Chairman Professor Attahiru Jega and officially unveiled by the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar GCON (Wazirin Adamawa), Sule Lamido’s book launch titled “Being True To Myself.” was well attended by the Chairman Northern Governors Forum and the Executive Governor Gombe state Alh. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON (Danmajen Gombe)
Governor Inuwa on behalf of the NGF announced a donation of N50 million in support of the publication. 10 copies of the book to be placed in the GSU library at the rate of N10m was equally purchased by the Governor.
