GOMBE STATE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY COMMISSION RELEASES BUDGET REPORT TAGGED – UNDERSTANDING THE GOMBE STATE 2023 BUDGET OF FURTHER CONSOLIDATION, ADVICE GOVERNMENT ON REVENUE MOBILIZATION, EXPENDITURE CONTROL, FUNDING GAP, AND THE NEED TO RESTRUCTURE PUBLIC DEBT.

The Executive Chairman of Gombe State Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Mallam Abubakar Inuwa Tata unveils the Commission’s flagship report titled “Understanding the Gombe State 2023 Budget of Further Consolidation”.

The report is coming a few hours before the inauguration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for the second term in Office. The Chairman expressed his happiness in achieving another milestone in entrenching openness, accountability, and probity in the conduct of government fiscal operations.

The Chairman explained that the publication is meant to educate the citizens on the Open Government Initiative of the current administration and highlights key policy thrusts of the current administration in both economic, social, security, and administrative sectors as contained in the budget.
