SAIL Support Groups Reaffirm Support for APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Other Party Flagbearers
Former President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, PhD, GCON's support groups from Yobe South and Yobe East Senatorial Districts have reaffirmed their total support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, mni, and all APC candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections in Yobe State.
The position was made known during a strategic meeting held with the Acting Secretary to the Yobe State Government, Dr. Muhammad Goje, at his office in Damaturu.
The delegation was led by the Deputy Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Hon. Ya'u Usman Dachia, alongside the Yobe State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Muhammad Gagiyo, and Alhaji Nasiru Mato. The meeting was also attended by Coordinators and Directors-General of various support groups loyal to Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan from across Yobe South and Yobe East Senatorial Districts.
Speaking during the meeting, the leaders of the support groups reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the APC and pledged to mobilize their structures and supporters at all levels to ensure the victory of Alhaji Baba Malam Wali and all APC candidates in the upcoming elections.
They emphasized that the unity, stability, and continued progress of Yobe State remain their foremost priority, stressing that all political structures associated with Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan are fully aligned with the party's collective vision and leadership.
The meeting further underscored the spirit of unity, loyalty, and cohesion among APC stakeholders, with participants resolving to work collectively towards strengthening the party and securing electoral success across the state.
The support groups also commended Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan for his leadership, political maturity, and commitment to party unity, describing his support for the APC consensus arrangements as a demonstration of statesmanship and dedication to the progress of Yobe State.
