Ibiono‑Ibom APC Governorship Primary: Senator Bassey Albert Appeals for Unity and Good Conduct.

Distinguished Senator Bassey Albert - OBA, CON, former representative of Akwa Ibom North‑East Senatorial District in the 8th and 9th National Assemblies, participated in the All Progressives Congress governorship primary held at Presbyterian Primary School, Use Ikot Uko (the APC ward collection centre), Ibiono‑Ibom Eastern I, on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

While addressing party faithful, Senator Bassey Albert thanked them for the large turnout and peaceful conduct, and urged them to remain committed to upholding the party’s principles.

The Ibiono‑Ibom local government returning officer for the APC governorship primary, Hon Ubong Uwah; the Ibiono‑Ibom Eastern I returning officer, Comrade Ubong Asanga; and Hon. Aniekamauwem Asuquo, Ward Chairman, Ibiono‑Ibom Eastern I, also appealed to attendees to maintain good conduct.
