This appointment is a clear recognition of your experience, competence and commitment to public service most especially, your having served as a former Executive Chairman of Enugu North local government area. Today, Friday, 4th September 2026, I joined Enugu youths at a campaign rally themed “Unite Against Crime and Terrorism.”

It was truly inspiring to stand alongside young Ndi Enugu who are championing the call for a safer, more peaceful and crime-free society. Their commitment is a powerful reminder that our youths are not merely leaders of tomorrow; they are active partners in building a better society today.

I commend our youth-friendly Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his deliberate efforts and initiatives to empower young people and provide meaningful alternatives to crime, particularly through the State’s non-kinetic approach to tackling insecurity. I commend the organizers of this event especially the SSA to His Excellency on Security, Mr. Vincent Onyeabor for a very successful rally

Monthly gathering of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC)

Yesterday, Friday, 14th August 2026, alongside my dear wife, i joined thousands of women and stakeholders at the Enugu East Senatorial Zone Women Mega Rally held at the Council Headquarters of Nkanu East LGA, Amagunze.

The event was a powerful demonstration of solidarity by women across the Senatorial Zone, in honour of Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, Wife of the Executive Governor of Enugu State, for her remarkable strides in advancing women’s empowerment and development across the State.

Beyond the celebration, the landmark gathering reinforced grassroots engagement, strengthened unity and highlighted the growing role of women in driving societal growth. I was delighted to join thousands of stakeholders and committed members of our great party, the APC, particularly from Enugu North LGA, in this historic celebration.

I warmly congratulate Her Excellency, The First Lady of Enugu State Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, the women of Enugu East Senatorial Zone, and, the women of Enugu North LGA for a colourful, engaging, impactful and electrifying event.

On Thursday, 6th August 2026, I joined the Otu Ugobu-Eze Women of Ogui Nike for their August Meeting Celebrations at Annang Street, Ogui New Layout.

It was a great honour and a delightful moment to celebrate with our remarkable women, whose contributions remain vital to the growth and development of our communities and Enugu North LGA.

The annual August Meeting of the Otu Ugobu-Eze Women is one I hold particularly close to my heart, and attending it has become an annual ritual for me. I first attended their August Meeting some years ago as a Member of the Enugu State House of Assembly, and that first experience showed me just how resilient, organised, and determined these virtuous women are.

Through collective effort, personal sacrifices, hard work, and dedication, they organised themselves, contributed resources, and successfully built a modern multipurpose event centre for their community. This uncommon display of unity, discipline, and commitment to community development endeared them deeply to me and remains truly admirable.

Their story is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when our women are united, empowered, and committed to a common purpose.

I congratulate the Otu Ugobu-Eze Women and all women across Enugu North LGA on this year’s August Meeting Celebrations. May God grant you fruitful deliberations, greater accomplishments, and continued progress in all your endeavours.

Today, Thursday, 6th August 2026, I received a delegation of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Enugu Command, led by the State Commandant, Dr. Elijah Etim Willie.

I reaffirmed our administration’s commitment to protecting lives and property, in line with the security strides of our Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. In Enugu North LGA, we are leveraging these efforts to further strengthen security and protect our people.

As the host local government area, we remain committed to sustaining this strategic partnership with the NSCDC and other security agencies, while providing the necessary support for effective service delivery.

I commend the NSCDC and other sister agencies for their continued efforts in keeping our people safe.
