ST. JUDE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH PARISH OPENED A NEW MASS CENTER AT UGOLO-ORUA R' UVWIE COMMUNITY.

St. Jude's Catholic Church Parish G.R.A Effurun, in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, opened a new Mass Center called Our Lady Of Victory Catholic Church at Ugolo-Orua R' Uvwie Community Opposite Trailer Park, Eff/Sap Rd, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, which will be developed into a Parish soon by the Grace of God.

The Ugolo-Orua R' Uvwie Mass Center was opened and named in Honor of Our Lady Victory on Sunday 26th been a Special Sunday in the Catholic Church World wide.

Bishop: Most Rev. Anthony Ovayero Ewherido (His Lordship), Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Omorovie Mark Ikeke and Rev Fr. Benedict Esemokha Apeleokha presided over the official opening ceremony of Our Lady Victory Catholic Church.

Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Omorovie Mark Ikeke, thanked the Bishop Anthony, HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso Abe 1, OON (JP) Inene R'Uvwie, Council of Chiefs during represented, he specially appreciated the Unuevworo of Eche R' Ogbe, High Chief (Hon) Roy Grant Oke, who personally and single handedly engineered and supervised the building project of Our Lady Victory Catholic Church.

IGHRAKPATA LAUDED THE NEWLY ELECTED EXECUTIVES OF EFFURUN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE (ECDC) DURING A COURTESY VISIT BY THE ECDC EXECUTIVES YESTERDAY AT HIS RESIDENCE.

The newly elected Executives of the above name mentioned, led by Hon. Victor Eru Okoloba, paid a courtesy visit and official introduction of the new elected Executives to Uvwie Political Leader, Chief Hon. Solomon O. Ighrakpata, who doubles as Executive Chairman of Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service at his residence in Ovie Palace Road, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

Hon. Victor Eru Okoloba, Chairman of ECDC, introduced all members of the ECDC Executive to Chief Hon. Solomon O. Ighrakpata and thank Him for granting their courtesy visit request despite the short notice. He also used the medium to appreciate Him for the good works he has been doing for the Effurun Community, Uvwie Kingdom and Delta State in general.

The Political Leader of Uvwie Local Government Area and Chairman, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service, Hon. (Chief) Solomon O. The newly elected and inaugurated Excos of the Effurun Community Development Committee (ECDC) in Uvwie Kingdom, led by Hon. Victor Eru Okoloba (FBI) paid a courtesy visit and official introduction of new Excos members to His Royal Father, HRM Dr. Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, Abe 1, OON (JP) the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom at his Palace G.R.A Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area on the 23rd day of January, 2025.

High Chief (Dr.) Samuel Jimoh Eshenake (JP) the Unuevworo of Eche R' Ohorhe, who introduced members of Council of Chief in Uvwie Kingdom and a brief history of the creation of extra Eche by Abe 1.

Unuevworo R' Uvwie, High Chief Hope O. Akasa then introduced members of the Excos, Effurun Community Development Committee to His Royal Majesty Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso Abe 1, OON (JP) and asked for prayers for his son's.

The Uvwie Monarch expressed his gratitude for the visit, he encouraged the Excos to prioritize the Unuevworo's representing the three Eche (Alegbo, Ogbe and Erovie) urge them to be of good character and behavior, while he admonished them to work for the betterment, development of Effurun Community and Uvwie in general, encouraged them to be committed in discharging their duties as representives of Effurun Community

His Excellency, Right Honorable *Sheriff Oborevwori,* the Governor of Delta State, has truly demonstrated his commitment to transforming the state through infrastructural development. The numerous road construction projects and mega drainage projects ongoing in Uvwie Local Government, dubbed a "construction hub" by Uvwie LGA PDP Chairman Elder Efe Okoledo who is also the PDP Chairman Of All Chairmen Delta State, are a testament to the governor's vision.

Some notable completed projects include:

- *Jefia Road*: Opposite UBA and connecting PTI Road to Commissioner Road, serving as an escape route during the flyover construction from PTI Junction to DSC Roundabout.
- *Sokoh Estate Road*: Okito End Completed and before the airport road end still ongoing, enhancing connectivity in the area.
- *The Road Behind Church Of God Mission* : Completed .
- *Mega Drainage Project (Phase 2)*: Completed, stretching from Airport Road to Ekpan Link Road.
- *NNPC Complex Road*: Newly constructed, facilitating easier access.
- *Streetlights*: Installed along Airport Road, Refinery Road, Effurun Sapele Road, Ijakpa Road, and PTI Road enhancing safety and security.

The ongoing flyover project at Effurun Roundabout to PTI Junction, Ebrumede Roundabout, Enerhen Junction and Uti Road is another significant undertaking. These initiatives demonstrate Governor Oborevwori's dedication to fulfilling his electoral promises and transforming Delta State.

As *Elder Efe Okoledo* aptly stated, "Thank you, Your Excellency, for a job well done." Indeed, the governor's efforts have not gone unnoticed, and the people of Delta State are grateful for his leadership.

DSIRS Breaks Records Under Ighrakpata's led Administration, Generates unprecedented Revenue In The History of Delta State

The Delta State Internal Revenue Service under the Ighrakpata's led administration as the Executive Chairman of the Service has generated an unprecedented Revenue in the history of Delta State.

He promised to leave no stone unturned in not only boosting the tax net but also generating more revenue for the government

It is on record that the Delta State Internal Revenue Service under the leadership of Hon Solomon Ighrakpata achieved a milestone performance in the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) collections in the 2024 fiscal year with the sum of N157,785,188,072.55 (One Hundred and Fifty-Seven Billion, Seven Hundred and Eighty-Five Million, One Hundred and Eighty-Eight Thousand, Seventy-Two Naira and Fifty-Five Kobo) collected in the year 2024
against the IGR target of N110,304,108,619.00 (One Hundred and Ten Billion, Three Hundred and Four Million, One Hundred and Eight Thousand, Six Hundred and Nineteen Naira) in the 2024 Budget estimates"

"The Internally generated revenue IGR achieved in 2024 exceeded the IGR generated in 2023(N114,088,309,224.99 (One Hundred and Fourteen Billion, Eighty-Eight Million, Three Hundred and Nine Thousand, Two Hundred and Twenty-Four Naira and Ninety-Nine Kobo) which made that of 2024 the highest in the history of Delta State Internal Revenue Service"

Hon Ighrakpata who maintained that the service under his leadership will not rest on her laurels expressed confidence of a more robust internally generated revenue in the year 2025.

He called on all staff of the Revenue Service to double their efforts in ensuring that the Delta State Internal Revenue Service achieved excellence in terms of IGR Generation

Former Uvwie APC Ward Two Chairman And His Team Pay Courtesy Visit To Uvwie PDP Leader, Hon. Ighrakpata.

During the late hours of today, a delegation of prospective decampees from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Uvwie Ward Two (2) led by Shepherd Victor Akaighe, former APC Ward two Chairman paid a courtesy visit to the number one Uvwie Political Leader, Chief Hon. Solomon Ighrakpata who doubles as the Executive Chairman, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service at his residence, Ovie Palace Road, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

The meeting was to consolidate on the massive official decamping of the Uvwie APC ward two members to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Uvwie Ward Two, which will be communicated soon.

During the visit, Shepherd Victor Akaighe, who led other APC members accompanied by one of the PDP Ward Two Leader, High Chief (Hon.)
