The Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, Mal. Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu , Ph.D., has commenced a critical engagement tour across the six Local Government Areas of Yobe North, following the recent reconciliation efforts with Dist. Sen. Ahmad Lawan, (Ph.D.) President of the 9th Senate.

The tour is aimed at strengthening unity within the APC family, particularly among members of the Unity Family, while encouraging stakeholders and supporters to embrace reconciliation, cooperation and a common political direction.

During the engagements, Mal. Hashimu called on stakeholders to close ranks and work collectively for the political interests of Yobe North. He emphasized the importance of supporting Sen. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan , Ph.D., Alh. Baba Malam Wali, mni, and other APC candidates, noting that unity remains essential to advancing the interests of the zone.

As part of the engagement, Mal. Hashimu announced a ₦6 million personal donation, with ₦1 million allocated to each of the six Local Government Areas for distribution among supporters. The gesture reflects his commitment to grassroots engagement and strengthening the bonds within the political family.

The tour has so far covered four LGAs, with Machina and Jakusko scheduled as the final stops. Mal. Hashimu reaffirmed his commitment to a stronger and united Zone C under unity family leadership, urging all stakeholders to put differences behind them, rebuild trust and move forward together in the spirit of unity, cooperation and collective progress.

The Aftermath of Unity Family Reconciliation: Special Adviser on Youth Affairs Sets To Visit Zone C for Critical Engagement

Following the recent reconciliation between Dist. Sen. Ahmad Lawan (P.h.D).President of the 9th Senate and the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, Mal Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu (P.h.D), attention is now focuse toward strengthening unity and cooperation across Zone C and beyond ahead of 2027.

As part of this renewed engagement, Dr. Hashimu will be visiting the zone to interact with stakeholders and youth leaders. The engagement will commence tomorrow Sunday 20th September 2026, Nguru and Machina at ICT CENTER KANO RD. OPP
ALMUTAPHA STADIUM by 11:30am, followed by Karasuwa at 1:00pm, Yusufari at Governmentlodge 2:00pm, and Gashua Jakusko at 4:00pm at the Government Lodge.

The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for broader consultation, relationship-building, and dialogue among stakeholders, with emphasis on maintaining peace, unity, and collective understanding across Zone C APC political family.

Dr. Hashimu will also highlight the importance of coming together under one umbrella to deliver all APC candidates in Zone C and beyond.

Strengthening the Youth Constituency Amidst Interesting Days Ahead.....

Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, Mal. Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu, Ph.D.,received the Director-General of the Coalition of Yobe APC Political Organisations (COYAPO), Hon. Bature Goniri , and Alh. Ibrahim Murabus at his Kano residence in a meeting focused on youth participation, unity and development.

The engagement provided an opportunity to engage and strengthening, unity, cooperation among youth stakeholders and creating greater coordination around issues affecting young people across Yobe State.

The meeting also reflected the importance of unity collaboration among stakeholders within Gov. Buni’s youth constituency, particularly as political and developmental activities continue to evolve.

Youth Affairs Office and COYAPO continued to maintain cordial and collaborative synergy.

APC Family United for Progress: Gov. Buni Commends Dr. Hashimu’s Commitment to Unity

Following the recent closed-door meeting between the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, Dr. Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu , and Distinguished Senator Ahmad Lawan, Ph.D., led by the Special Adviser on Religious Affairs, Ustaz Babagana Malam Kyari, the two Special Advisers met with the Limamin Sulhu, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, Executive Governor of Yobe State.

The meeting provided an opportunity to brief His Excellency on the political and developmental progress arising from the engagements, particularly the ongoing efforts to strengthen unity, reconciliation and cooperation among members of the APC family across the state.

His Excellency expressed delight at the positive development and commended Distinguished Senator Ahmad Lawan, Ph.D., for his warmth, openness and commitment to the collective interest and progress of the Yobe APC family.

Gov. Buni also commended Mal. Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu, Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, for his commitment and continued efforts towards building a stronger, united and more cohesive APC family. He equally appreciated Ustaz Babagana Malam Kyari for his dedication and efforts in fostering understanding and bringing members of the party together.

His Excellency further called on all members of the APC family in Yobe State to set aside differences, embrace one another and work together in the spirit of unity, mutual respect and collective responsibility for the continued progress and development of the state.

On behalf of the Youth Constituency, we sincerely commiserate with the family, friends, and associates of Alh. Ibrahim Dan Gaye over his demise.

The Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, Mal. Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu , condoles with the bereaved family and prays that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah grant him eternal peace and accept our soul at a time when He is pleased with us and grant the family of Dan Gaye the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.

Alh. Ibrahim Dan Gaye lived a life worthy of emulation and made meaningful contributions among his peers and within the youth constituency.

Indeed, we have lost a great figure. May Allah grant him eternal rest and comfort his loved ones. Ameen.

2027 CAMPAIGN: SPECIAL ADVISER ON YOUTH AFFAIRS JOINS APC GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE ALH BABA MALLAM WALI MNI ON CONSULTATIVE TOUR ACROSS YOBE STATE EMIRATES

As the political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gather momentum, the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, Mal Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu (P.h.D), has joined the Yobe State APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, mni, on a consultative tour across the 17 Local Government Areas and Emirates of Yobe State, engaging traditional institutions, community leaders and key stakeholders.

The consultative tour is aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement, fostering unity and seeking valuable perspectives from traditional rulers and stakeholders on the political direction of the State. It also provides an opportunity to reaffirm the APC’s commitment to inclusive leadership and people-oriented development.

Mal Hashimu’s participation highlights the growing role of youths in the political process and reflects his commitment to youth empowerment and inclusion, in line with the youth-focused policies and programmes of Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration.

The BMW–BBS ticket has continued to receive encouraging acceptance and solidarity across communities visited during the consultative engagements, with stakeholders expressing support for continuity, stability and consolidation of the development achievements recorded under the present administration.

Mal Hashimu called on the youths of Yobe State to remain united, peaceful and actively engaged in the political process, urging them to sustain their support for the BMW–BBS ticket as a platform for the continuation and consolidation of Governor Buni’s youth development agenda.

The Office of the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs led by Mal Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu (P.h.D) warmly congratulates Dr. Abubakar Bukar Kagu, Hon Usman Albishir, Shuaibu Muhammad Guza, Dr. Abdullahi Sarki Karasuwa, Hon. Abdullahi Bazuwa, Bakura Abba Murfama, and Abubakar Baba Dada (Bosco) and others on their appointments to various positions of responsibility in the Yobe State Government.

We particularly commend His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon.
