DEMOCRACY DAY MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE OF SPECIAL ADVISER ON YOUTH AFFAIRS

Democracy Day is a significant occasion for all Nigerians. It is a day to remember the sacrifices of our heroes, past and present, whose commitment laid the foundation for the democratic system we enjoy today.

It is also a day for the youth to reflect on their responsibilities and actively contribute to strengthening democracy through patriotism, leadership, and service to society.

As we commemorate June 12, we celebrate the immense contributions of H.E (Dr) Mai Mala Buni CON, to democratic governance in Nigeria and his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Yobe State.

His administration has demonstrated a strong commitment to youth development through various empowerment programs, educational support initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and inclusive participation in governance.

The Office of the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, under the leadership of Dr. Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu , remains a critical focal point in implementing Gov. Buni's youth-centered agenda, ensuring that young people continue to benefit from the opportunities created by this administration.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE DEMISE OF HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, ALHAJI AHMAD TIJJANI IBN SALEH, EMIR OF GAZARGAMU

The Office of the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs extends its deepest condolences to the family of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ahmad Tijjani Ibn Saleh, the Emir of Gazargamu, the people of the Gazargamu Emirate, and the entire good people of Yobe State over the passing of the revered traditional ruler.

The death of His Royal Highness is a monumental loss, not only to his immediate family and the Emirate but also to Yobe State and the nation at large. Throughout his lifetime, he exemplified wisdom, humility, courage, and selfless service, dedicating himself to the progress, peace, and welfare of his people.

His remarkable leadership, fatherly guidance, and enduring legacy will continue to inspire generations. He served as a symbol of unity, tradition, and moral excellence whose contributions to society will remain indelible in our collective memory.

While we mourn this painful loss, we submit to the will of Almighty Allah, knowing that every soul shall taste death and that Allah's decree is supreme.

We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, expands and illuminates his grave, and grants him the highest station in Al-Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah also grant his family, the Gazargamu Emirate, and all those affected by this loss the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this difficult moment.

I received with submission to the will of Allah the sad news of the passing of Hajiya Amina Maji, beloved aunt of Alhaji Baba Malam Wali mni, our APC Gubenatorial candidate.

On behalf of myself and the youth constituency of Yobe State, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Baba Malam Wali, the entire family of the late Hajiya Amina Maji And all those affected by this great loss.

Late Hajiya Amina Maji lived exemplary life dedicated to service, education, and humanity. Her 35 years of meritorious service in the teaching profession, culminating in her role as Headmistress, stand as a testament to her commitment to shaping future generations and contributing to the development of our state.

Her passing is undoubtedly a painful loss, but we take solace in the enduring legacy she leaves behind through the countless lives she touched, the values she instilled, and the generations she helped nurture.

I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives her shortcomings, accepts her good deeds, grants her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus, and gives her family, friends, and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Alh. Isah Adamu BBC: Demise of a Generational Pillar

On behalf of the teeming youth constituency, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, the people of Nguru, and the entire Yobe State over the passing of Alhaji Adamu Isah BBC.

His demise is a great loss to our state, as he was one of Yobe's most respected elder statesmen whose wisdom and guidance touched countless lives.

Alhaji Adamu Isah BBC lived a life of service, humility, and commitment to the progress of his community and humanity at large.

His legacy is reflected not only in his achievements but also in the many people he inspired, mentored and supported throughout his lifetime.

As we mourn this painful loss, we pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and gives his family and loved ones the strength to bear this irreparable loss. Ameen.

SPECIAL ADVISER ON YOUTH AFFAIRS COMMENDS GOV BUNI FOR STRATEGIC INVESTMENT IN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

The Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, Mal. Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu (Ph.D), has commended H.E the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, CON for his sustained commitment and strategic investment in youth development across the state over the last seven years.

According to the Special Adviser, Gov. Buni has demonstrated uncommon sincerity and dedication toward empowering young people through inclusive governance, human capital development and youth-friendly policies.

He noted that the achievements recorded in the youth affairs clearly reflect the Gov. Buni’s genuine commitment to strategic development and purposeful leadership aimed at building a better future for the younger generation.

Mal. Hashimu further stated that Gov. Buni has continued to create opportunities for youths beyond appointments of the youth into the State Executive Council by encouraging active youth participation in governance and leadership responsibilities.

He particularly applauded the appointment of one of the youngest Acting Secretaries to the State Government in Nigeria Dr Mohammed Goje , followed by the additional of four young people as representatives at the State House of Assembly, describing the move as a strong sign of confidence in youthful capacity and leadership.

Special Adviser on Youth Affairs Congratulates Gov. Buni, BMW and Others

…Commends Youths for Peaceful Participation at the Primaries Statewide

On behalf of the teeming youths of Yobe State, I would like to congratulate all the winners at the APC primaries concluded today across the state, particularly my Boss, His Excellency Dr. Mai Mala Buni, CON, on his emergence as the Senatorial Candidate representing Yobe East Senatorial District, and of course our gubernatorial candidate, Alh. Baba Malam Wali, mni, for winning the gubernatorial primaries with a landslide margin.

This is indeed a victory for democracy and a moment worthy of commendation. I also salute the leadership of our great party under Alh. Mohammed Gadaka for organizing peaceful, transparent and hitch-free primaries across the state. It is truly history in the making.

On a particular note, I wish to congratulate both returning and newly elected young people from the youth constituency who secured tickets into the State House of Assembly. We sincerely thank His Excellency Gov. Mai Mala Buni for this enduring legacy of youth inclusion and empowerment.

Finally, I appreciate all young people across the state for their peaceful conduct, maturity and massive turnout during the primaries. Let us sustain the same spirit and double our efforts toward the forthcoming general elections.
