When you walk with God, the journey may take time, but the destination is always worth it.

In the waiting, God is working. His silence is never His absence.

18/05/2025

Sometimes, God makes you wait, not to deny you, but to prepare you. The joy we feel today reminds me that when it's God's time, no force on earth can stop the blessing.

His timing teaches us that miracles are not always immediate, but always intentional.

Thank you, Lord, for this morning's miracle.
🙏🙏🙏🙏
You always show up in the best ways.

Today marks a bold and historic step forward for Cross River State as we witnessed a powerful unification at the APC Grand Defection Rally held in Calabar.

I was honored to stand with our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), as we welcomed distinguished leaders and patriots into our fold.

Led by Dr. Emana Ambrose-Amawhe from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo (DANSUKI) from the Labour Party (LP), and Prof. Edde Iji, the State Chairman of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), this event signals a strong wave of confidence in the leadership and direction of Governor Bassey Edet Otu’s administration.

Represented by his dependable Deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, the Governor welcomed our new members with open arms and reaffirmed our shared commitment to prosperity, unity, and people-first governance.

As the Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, I see this as a reinforcement of our collective mission—to build wealth, empower citizens, and create sustainable opportunities across every LGA of our dear state.

Congratulations to Barr. Attah Ochinke, SAN, Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo, and Lady Emana Amahwe Ambrose on this courageous and visionary move. Together, we are stronger. Together, we move forward.

Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, in collaboration with Nugi-Technologies Nigeria Limited, organized a specialized training workshop on Data Management for Cross River State desk officers. The workshop was held at the Nugi-Technologies Corporate Office in Calabar on the 29th and 30th of July, 2024.

The primary objectives of the workshop were:
1. To enhance the data management skills of desk officers.
2. To provide practical knowledge and tools for efficient data handling and analysis.
3. To foster better data-driven decision-making within the Ministry and its associated departments.

The training workshop was declared open by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Cross River State, represented by the Chief Of Staff to the Governor (Hon Emmanuel Ironbar) who charged the Desk Officers to redouble their efforts and ensure that those that are supposed to be captured are captured and they benefit on the government planned programs accordingly.

The Commissioner For Wealth Creation and Employment, Hon Patrick Egbede, also charged the Desk Officers to expand their knowledge on Data management Skills.
