YABO DA JINJINA GA MAI MARTABA SARKIN BIU

Mai Martaba Sarkin Biu, Alhaji (Dr.) Mustapha Umar Aliyu, CON, abin koyi ne na gari, jagora nagari, kuma uba ga kowa. Ya kasance shugaba mai hikima, tawali'u, adalci da son haɗin kai, wanda ke karɓar dukkan al'ummarsa ba tare da la'akari da ƙabila, addini, matsayi ko bambancin siyasa ba.

Mulkinsa ya kasance abin alfahari, domin yana ƙarfafa zaman lafiya, haɗin kai, mutunta al'adu, da ci gaban Masarautar Biu. Kyawawan halayensa, tausayi, da kulawarsa ga jama'a sun sanya ya zama abin girmamawa ba ga mutanen Masarautar Biu kaɗai ba, har ma da sauran al'ummomi a faɗin Najeriya.

Masarautar Biu tana da tarihi mai daraja, al'adu masu armashi, mutane masu ƙwazo da mutunci. A ƙarƙashin jagorancin Mai Martaba, waɗannan kyawawan ɗabi'u na ci gaba da bunƙasa, tare da ƙarfafa haɗin kai, zaman lafiya, da tarbiyya ga matasa masu tasowa.

Hakikanin shugaba shi ne wanda ke gina zukata, ya haɗa jama'a, kuma ya bar kyakkyawan tarihi. Mai Martaba ya kasance fitilar adalci, tausayi, hikima da sadaukarwa ga al'ummarsa. Kalmominsa suna ƙarfafa gwiwa, ayyukansa suna haɗa kan jama'a, kuma jagorancinsa yana zama abin koyi ga kowa.

Muna roƙon Allah Maɗaukakin Sarki Ya ƙara wa Mai Martaba lafiya, tsawon rai, hikima da ƙarfin guiwa domin ci gaba da jagorantar Masarautar Biu zuwa manyan nasarori.

A child of about 5 years old, who identified himself as DADDY, has been found.
The child is currently safe in the custody of the Mai Anguwa, Alhaji Bature, at Bayan Tasha, Binta Sudan, Biu Local Government Area.
Parents, guardians, or anyone who recognizes the child should kindly proceed to the above location to identify and collect him.

Emir of Biu Leads Delegation to Appreciate Governor Zulum and Engr. Gubio for Choosing Ali Isa Abdullahi as APC Deputy Governorship Candidate.

The Emir of Biu, His Eminence Alhaji Mustapha Aliyu Mustapha II, on Saturday led a high-level delegation of traditional rulers, political leaders, and title holders from Biu Emirate to Maiduguri to express appreciation to Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, and the APC governorship candidate, Engr. Mustapha Gubio, for selecting Alhaji Ali Isa Abdullahi as the party's deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 elections.

Speaking during the visit, the Emir said the delegation came on behalf of the entire Biu Emirate to convey their gratitude for the confidence reposed in one of their sons. He described Ali Isa Abdullahi as a proud indigene of Biu whose family roots are well known within the emirate.

According to the Emir, Ali's ancestral home is situated at Tashan Dan Fulani in Biu, close to the royal family's residence, adding that his grandparents are recognized indigenes of the area. He therefore urged those spreading misleading information about Ali's origin on social media to stop, emphasizing that Biu Emirate remains united and fully identifies him as one of its own. He also prayed for peaceful and successful elections in the state.

The Emir's remarks addressed recent debates on social media regarding Ali Isa Abdullahi's ancestry and eligibility, with some questioning his Babur-Bura heritage and citing his inability to speak the language fluently. Others had also claimed he was from Miringa. The Emir firmly dismissed such claims, reaffirming that Ali is a genuine son of Biu Emirate.

Responding, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum thanked the Emir and members of the delegation, which included former deputy governors, commissioners, and present and former local government chairmen, for their show of solidarity and appreciation.

BIU AND HAWUL LGs HOST BORNO STATE AUDITOR GENERAL
Today, Thursday, 9th July, 2026, the Executive Chairman of Biu Local Government, Hon. Sule Ali Abubakar (Man Sule), alongside the Executive Chairman of Hawul Local Government, Hon. Yusuf Mamman Msheliza, jointly hosted the Auditor General for Local Governments in Borno State, Babagana Laminu, and his team during a familiarization and sensitization session held at the Council Chamber of the New Secretariat, Biu.
The session was attended by the Secretaries of both councils, Treasurers, Heads of Departments, senior officers from the Finance, Budget and Planning Departments, Honourable Councillors, and management staff from Biu and Hawul Local Governments.
In his keynote address, the Auditor General emphasized the importance of accountability, transparency, proper record-keeping, and sound financial management in local government administration. He also commended both Executive Chairmen for their commitment to effective leadership and service to the people.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Executive Chairman of Hawul Local Government, Hon. Yusuf Mamman Msheliza, who appreciated the Auditor General and his team for the valuable engagement.
