Her Excellency, Hajia Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris the Wife of the Executive Governor of Kebbi state Seeks Traditional Rulers' Support on Girl-Child Education

In a bid to strengthen her moral compass on girl-child education and empower young girls in the State, Her Excellency Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, the wife of the Kebbi State Governor, has beseeched the support of the traditional rulers across the four emirates of the state upon recognition of their crucial role in influencing cultural and social norms, Hajiya Zainab Nasare seeks their interventions and advice to ensure the success of her programs on girl-child education.
Her Excellency made the declaration at the Gwandu emirate palace during her visit to His Royal Highness, Major General Muhamma Iliyasu Bashar CFR, mni, the Emir of Gwandu and chairman of emir's council of Kebbi state. Hajiya Zainab Nasare was accompanied by her entourage which included the wives of local government chairmen, female councilors and the wives of other government officials. Her excellency has emphasized the commitment of this administration, under the leadership of His Excellency Dr. Nasiru Idris to prioritize education and empower the girl-children across the state.
As the wife of the Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasare possesses a unique platform and experiences that enable her to advocate for policies, launch initiatives, and engage communities to ensure that every girl in Kebbi State has access to quality education.
