Gov. Idris hails FERMA for repairs of roads in Kebbi

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has commended the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) for rehabilitation and reconstruction of some Federal Government's roads in the state.
He gave the commendation when the State Minister for Works, Alhaji Bello Goronyo paid him a courtesy visit at Government House in Birnin Kebbi.
The governor particularly appreciated the efforts of the FERMA's Engineer in-charge of the state, Malam Rilwanu Usman, for ensuring ex*****on of quality projects and road maintenance in the state.
While thanking the minister for the visit, Gov. Idris assured his determination to continue with the infrastructure works already started in a bid to ensure total transformation of the state.
He appreciated the federal government for revoking the road construction project from Koko-Mahuta-Dabai and allow the Kebbi State Government to takeover ownership of the project.
The governor reiterated the readiness of his administration to ensure quality work and speedy completion of the project to ameliorate the plights of his people, particularly those from Zuru axis.
Gov. Idris assured his willingness to continue to partner with the federal government to achieve the set goals and objectives of government.
Earlier, the minister, Alhaji Bello Goronyo lauded the governor for his developmental strides across the state.
"Gov. Nasir Idris has been piloting the affairs of the state in a very serious manner and impacting positively on the lives of people in the state.
"I congratulate the Kebbi people for having Gov. Idris as governor of Kebbi as I have seen tremendous achievements recorded in less than two years of his administration," he said.
