It is my pleasure to celebrate Senator Tunde Ogbeha on his birthday today.
Senator Ogbeha is a worthy compatriot whose public life has been defined by courage, service and an unwavering commitment to democracy. At a time when Nigerians are weighed down by a severe cost-of-living crisis, worsening hardship and the consequences of insensitive governance, his voice and leadership remain vital to our collective struggle to rescue our country and restore hope to our people.
As we celebrate him today, we recognise his steadfast commitment to good governance and to the difficult but necessary task of rebuilding a Nigeria where the economy works for the people—not merely for those in power; where families can afford food, workers can afford transportation, businesses can thrive, and young people can once again believe in their future.
I warmly congratulate you, Senator Ogbeha, on this milestone. I am proud of your contributions to our shared endeavour to return Nigeria to the path of peace, prosperity and productive enterprise, and to build a country where life is once again affordable and dignified for ordinary Nigerians.
