INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (IDPD) 2025.

The National President of the National Union of Bauchi State Students (NUBASS), Comr. Muhammad Sulaiman Abdulwahab, hosted an interactive engagement with members of the Joint National Association Of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD) Bauchi State Chapter in commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The event brought together students with disabilities from various institutions across Bauchi State, alongside leaders of the Association of Persons with Disabilities, Bauchi State chapter. Discussions centred on strengthening inclusivity and ensuring equal opportunities for all students.

The House of Representatives has vowed to enforce full compliance with the legally mandated 5 percent employment quota for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs), declaring that the era of advocacy without accountability is over.
