WITHOUT DISCIPLINE AND STRENGTH OF CHARACTER, YOUR DEGREE WILL BE USELESS - DNEAO TELLS CMS in Taraba Camp.
The erudite Director of the NYSC North-East Area Office(DNEAO), Mr. Omotade Ayodele Folurunsho has charged 2022 Batch B Stream I corps members to imbibe discipline and be of good behavior in their quest for success.
The DNEAO gave the charge to the corps members while addressing earlier, during his working visit to the NYSC Taraba Camp.
The Director congratulated the corps members over the successes recorded in their various academic programmes and warmly welcomed them into the NYSC family.
He urged them to accept their posting to the State in good faith and refrain from seeking unnecessary relocation. In his words - " Providence has brought you to Taraba, do not seek unnecessary relocation and thereby alter the course of destiny ".
The DNEAO further urged the corps members to show resilience and acclimatise to the demands of regimented life on camp, noting that such inconveniences were necessary to prepare them for challenges ahead of them. In his words " Nigeria needs people with resilience and character, show strength and courage." The Area Director also enjoined the corps members to be of integrity at all times and live by the dictates of their oath of allegiance.
Earlier the State Coordinator NYSC Taraba State Mr Anthony Nzoka had in his address welcomed the DNEAO to the camp. He expressed his excitement at the opportunity to work under the superintendence of the DNEAO in the North-East Zone. The Coordinator then guided the Area Director of an inspection of camp facilities which was , followed by meeting with staff of the NYSC Taraba Secretariat.
