Cities as drivers of growth and recovery" is apt as we are concluding our two physical master plans and pursuing initiatives to finish strong. Making Edo Great Again (MEGA) will lead to the growth and recovery of our economy. Benin City plays a key role in it. So join us in a month full of activities to mark Urban October. *Isoken Omo sets to bag the Award of Commissioner for Physical Planning of the Year.*

In a letter of Notification by the Housing Development Programme, organisers of Africa Housing Awards 2022, Isoken Omo, Commissioner for Ministry of Physical Planning, Housing, Urban and Regional Development (MPPHURD) Edo State is to be awarded the COMMISSIONER FOR PHYSICAL PLANNING OF THE YEAR.
Also, by the organisers of the Award, Omo’s nomination resulted from voting on the Africa Housing Awards portal and a final review by the panel of judges. “Africa Housing Awards is an annual event that celebrates and promotes excellence in the housing and construction industry. It also recognizes the success of firms, individuals, teams, or companies who are setting trends in innovative construction, consistency in high industry standards, and market expansion “
“The Africa Housing Awards (AHA) is a way of showcasing organisations and people's abilities and rewarding their achievement; this event is widely regarded as the most credible and prestigious award in Africa's Housing Industry. This year's award ceremony will take place on 15th December 2022 at the International Conference Centre by 6 pm under the Distinguished chairmanship of Senator Sam Egwu, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Housing and Former Executive Governor of Ebonyi State”
It is not surprising that Isoken Omo is again being recognised for her prowess.
