Works Commissioner, Arc. Okey Ezeobi commends Engr. Dom Okafor for attracting the 1.6km Construction of Nkwo Market -Akukwa Village -Amaehulu Town Hall -Holy Rosary Secondary School Road Igboukwu

Arc. Okey Ezeobi made the commendation during the official flag off ceremony for the Construction of the road at Igboukwu, Aguata LGA.

The flag off ceremony was attended by the Senator representing Anambra South, Sen. Emma Nwachukwu, the Director General of Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute, Abuja, Prof. Sampson Duna, the Igwe of Igboukwu, Igwe Alex Azike Onelibe and his cabinet members, the PG of Igboukwu, Barr. Dr. MCK Uba, party faithfuls, stakeholders and other dignitaries.

Breaking news

No community or individual is permitted to construct speed bumps on public roads without approval. We are also taking steps to remove existing unauthorized speed bumps. The appropriate equipment will be used to remove them where necessary.

The Anambra State government has warned that it would blacklist any contractor that poorly executes its project emphasizing the need for quality and timely delivery.

The State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Arc. Okey Ezeobi gave this warning today, June 17, during a meeting with contractors handling various road and Infrastructure projects across the state.

Arc. Ezeobi charged all contractors handling various projects in the state to ensure that the projects are completed within the stipulated contract period and in line with the contract’s specification.
