EVENT:A Courtesy visit by the leadership of
War Against Indiscipline Brigade, (WAI Brigade ) Anambra State Command led by the Commander of the Brigade in the State, Comrade Francis Nwoye to the Ag. State Director, National Orientation Agency, (NOA), Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke in her office at Engr. Ebele Ofunneamaka Okeke, Federal Secretariat Complex, Awka.

Date: Wednesday 25th March, 2026.

Venue: Office of the State Director at Engr. Ebele Ofunneamaka Okeke, Federal Secretariat Complex, Awka.

The Ag State Director, Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke pledged her support to the activities of the organization in the State, noted that she would make effective use of the Brigade , especially in the areas of information sharing, and security.

She added that the Brigade needed to be combatant in nature, and noted her intention to organize in- house training for the organization, asking them to support her leadership in the State with a view to enable her perform optimally.

They needed to be combatant in nature as gallant soldiers of the Agency, the essence of the proposed in-house training is for them to improve in their services to the nation, humanity, and Nigeria at large, especially at the grassroots.

Welcoming the team in the course of the visit, the State Co-ordinator of the WAI Brigade in the State, Mr. Tagbo Igboka, charged the officers ,and men of the Brigade to imbibe spirit of discipline, dedication and all round service to humanity.

Briefing the Ag State Director, and her Managing Team on reasons behind the visit, the Commander of the Brigade in the State, Comrade Francis Nwoye, said that they came to identify with Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke as the first female Ag State Director of NOA in Anambra State, he also promised that the organization will do their best support the work of the agency in the State.

The Deputy Director, Civic, Ethics, Values, and Democracy Education, Mr. Remigius Obi, described the brigade as a very important instrument in the maintenance of peace and serenity in the country , especially at national ceremonies in the country.

He promised that the current leadership of NOA in the State will not hesitate to co-opting the Bridge in the major activities of the Agency in Anambra State , and elsewhere in the country.

In a vote of thanks, the Deputy Director Media, and Communications , Comrade Cyril Ezezue, thanked the leadership of the Brigade for deeming the visit necessary , praying for fast elevation of the brigade to next level in the country.

Present at the event were, the Deputy Director, Community Outreach, and Development , Comrade Ndubuisi Ilodigwe, Mrs Ifeoma Umeh, Deputy Director, Community Safety Awareness, and Compliance, and Deputy Director, Special Duties , and Local Government Operations ,Mrs Nkechi Ezeyili, among others.

EVENT: A Courtesy Visit by National Oreintation Agency (NOA), Anambra State Directorate, led Ag. State Director, Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke to the Pioneer Director General(DG) of National Oreintation Agency (NOA),Prof Elochukwu Amucheazi at Owelle Villa, Mgbuke Village, Umunnachi Town, Dunukofia LGA, Anambra State.

Objectives of the Visit:
1. To intimate the Pioneer DG of NOA, of the beautiful programmes introduced by the New DG, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu and also changes and growth that has taken place in NOA under the New DG
2. To solicit from him to use his influence to appeal to the Anambra State Government to sponsor some of our programmes
3. To seek advice from him in some areas of our operations
4. To thank him for his great support to NOA Anambra State.

EVENT: A Courtesy Visit by The National Association of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Marketers(Cooking Gas Unit) led by the Union Secretary, Mr. Emma Okoludoh to NOA Ag. State Director, Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke at her office in the Federal Secretariat, Awka.

Background:
The National Association of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Marketers(Cooking Gas Unit) needed the assistance of NOA to facilitate a synergy with NYSC for the purpose of posting Corps members to serve in their facilities during their service year.

The NOA State Director assures them of facilitating with NYSC on the posting of Youth Corpers to them on condition that they will guarantee the Safety, Accommodation and Allowances of the Corpers posted to them.The Ag. State Director, Barr Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke requested for an inspection of their facilities before the posting of Corpers.The Deputy and Acting Director’s who were present during the Courtesy Visit corroborated with the Ag. EVENT: February 2026 Monthly Meeting of Heads of MDA’s in Anambra State attended by the Ag. State Director, Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke.

The Ag. State Director NOA, Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke gave the members of Heads of MDA's National Anthem pamphlet produced by NOA and encouraged them to use the National Prayer in it which she led them.

She appealed to them to be given an opportunity in order to enlighten the members on the National Identity Project-7 for 7 and the meeting approved the request of NOA to make the presentation but should be done on the day NOA will be hosting the meeting in order to allow for more time.

The Ag. State Director of NOA, Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke, also noted the need for proper sanitation of the Federal Secretariat, and the meeting agreed that something urgent would be done.

EVENT: The newly appointed Ag. State Director of National Oreintation Agency, Anambra State Directorate, Barr. Mrs. Ifeoma Chijioke had a Maiden Meeting with all the Deputy Directors and Heads of Units of the State Directorate.

Objectives:
1. To inform the HODs and HOUs that she has assumed duty and promised to carry every staff along.
2. To urged the Management Team to support her administration by putting in their best to ensure that the NOA Anambra State is moved to greater heights.
3. To encourage the staff to put on the NOA spirit and ensure that every task is taken serious.

Actions and Reactions:
The Deputy Directors and Heads of Units promised to work in agreement with the new Ag. State Director. She nominated a Deputy Director, Mr Remijus Obi to be the Supervisory Programme Officer incharge of ensuring that programmes is assigned to the appropriate Department.

However, each Deputy Directors was assigned to monitor the activities in 2 LGA’s including their departmental work. Some Senior Deputy Directors and the Head of Special Duties Department were assigned to monitor and facilitate the ex*****on of programmes in three LGA’s including their departmental functions.

Objectives of the Programme - The Programme is aimed at achieving the under-listed objectives:
1. Understand what constitutes youth Restiveness
2. Identity actions that constitute youth Restiveness
3. Examine the causes of youth Restiveness
4. Examine the consequences of youth Restiveness
5. Establish the relationship between Youth Restiveness and breach of peace and unity
6. Profer possible solution for youth Restiveness and national Cohesion

At the Radio Programme, which featured the State Director, Edozie Ajaegbu, the Deputy Director, Community Outreach and Development, Comrade Ndubisi Ilodigwe, and Ignatius Obalim Obiora of Youth Engagement and Inclusion, the agency affirmed that youth restiveness was prevalent in the state and that it constituted a stumbling block to peace, national Cohesion and development. The agency identified some causes of youth Restiveness and called for concerted efforts of parents, religious groups, security agencies and the government in addressing the phenomenon. The agency advocated for a total adherence to the National Ethics and the recently adopted National Values Charter as a sure way for peace, National Cohesion and development

At the Stakeholders' Forum, the President-general, Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) Youth Wing, Comrade Ken Okoli upheld that teaching the National Ethics from the grassroot, accurate census figure for planning, addressing the issues of unemployment and poverty were the solution for youth Restiveness. He, also upheld that concerted efforts of parents, religious groups, security and government were needed in addressing the challenges of youth Restiveness and Criminalities

Lady Joy Otti, the ASATU Women Vice President, the State Director, National Population Commission, Anambra State, Mrs Amaka Nzelu, and the ASATU Women Secretary general, Lady Njideka Anusi, shared the same view that parents/guardians have lots of work to do in addressing youth Restiveness in Nigeria. They aligned with Comrade Okoli that teaching of National Values was imperative.

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Anambra State, Superintendent, Olatunde, S. C., represented by Afunanya Nneka, along with the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Commission, (FRSC), Anambra State, Victor Olozumba, spoke on the need for oneness, peace and development.

The Seriki Hausa Community, Anambra State, Alhaji Garba Haruna Mohamed, represented by Mallam Musa Bello, and his Yoruba counterpart, Oba Rasak Oladipo, all shared the same view that peace, national Cohesion and development were sacrosanct.
