Earlier yesterday, 12th June 2023 , The Deputy Majority Leader of Anambra State House Of Assembly, Chief Dr. Jude Akpua alongside his high-profile entourage stormed Enugwu-Ukwu Civic Center, venue of reception for Hon. Chidi Ibemeka's inauguration ceremony .

Hon. Dr. Jude Akpua while briefing the press, noted that Hon. Chidi Ibemeka's inauguration ceremony was apt and timeous considering the confidence and trust Umunri bestowed on him by electing him, saying that such trust was worthy to celebrated with gratitude. He swiftly added that he has no doubt that Hon. Chidi Ibemeka would beat the expectations of Njikoka one Constituency due to his outstanding brilliance, valour and vibrancy.

In his reaction, Hon. Chidi Ibemeka appreciated Dr Jude Akpua for his presence and solidarity and vowed to synergize with him for the good of Njikoka Local Government Area. Hon Ibemeka said that the presence of Hon. Dr. Jude Akpua, Deputy Majority Leader Anambra State House Of Assembly has dignified his inauguration ceremony and assured him of his cooperation in legislative businesses .

12th June 2023 will continue to be epochal in the political trajectory of Njikoka two Constituency and Anambra state in general as newly elected thirty House Of Assembly members were sworn in.

Hon Chief Jude Akpua PhD who was inaugurated alongside his colleagues and consequently commissioned as the new Deputy Majority Leader of the 8th Anambra State House Of Assembly has vowed to leverage in his vantage authority as legitimately elected Legislator and transform Njikoka two Constituency through people-oriented enactment of laws , policy molding, effective representation and oversight functions.

Hon Chief Jude Akpua while fielding questions from the press noted that no stone would be left unturned in moving Njikoka two Constituency forward in consonance with the lofty policies and programmes of Anambra State Governor, His Excellency Prof Charles Soludo. He categorically pledged to hit the ground running and nudge people-oriented, purposeful and impactful representation without fear nor favour .

Hon. Chief Akpua also disclosed that his representation would prioritize the interests, concerns and aspirations of Umuowelle without dereliction of any sort rather with every sense of responsibility, integrity and probity. He however, acknowledged the enormity of his responsibility and assured that by God's grace he was prepared and would make Umuowelle proud through supersonic transformation and sustainable development .

The APGA standardbearer for Njikoka two Constituency, Chief (Dr) Jude Akpua has reiterated his readiness to entrench transformation, excellence, equity and accountability with every sense of responsibility in the representation of Umuowelle in Anambra State House Of Assembly. Dr jude Akpua disclosed this while addressing the people of Abba Community who trooped out en-masse to receive the APGA candidates who were in the town for campaign.

Chief Jude Akpua reminded the teeming crowd that his candidacy was for the entire Umuowelle and so his representation would be for the good of Njikoka two Constituency assuring them that equitable, qualitative, credible and creditable representation would be his watchword if given the mandate to represent. He added that he has made perceptible impact in Umuowelle and beyond particularly in his home town, Abba and would do more if elected. He noted that among other things he would facilitate the lofty policy direction of Governor Charles Soludo and actualize liveable and prosperous Anambra State and Umuowelle in particular.

18th December 2022 was an epochal date in the political firmament of Umuowelle as Dr Jude Akpua, APGA standard-bearer for Njikoka two Constituency inaugurated his campaign council with the admonition to work assiduously for his electoral victory come 2023. Dr Jude Akpua who stated that the council was filled with men and women of capacities and sways noted that with their synergy victory would be a forgone conclusion.

While declaring the event open, The Chief Whip of Anambra State House Of Assembly, Hon Pete Ibida KSJI noted that Dr Jude Akpua has all the wherewithal to win the forthcoming election. He described him as a competent leader with intimidating profile, amazing disposition and unmatched personality. Hon Peter Ibida consequently called on all APGA members to work with every sense of responsibility and tenacity in their mandate of working out success for Dr Jude Akpua and other APGA candidates.

In his speech, The Local Government Area APGA Chairman, Elder Charles Okongwu charged all to discharge their duty without dereliction. He categorically implored all to vote APGA from top to buttom to ensure that the victory of APGA in the state is sustained .

Highlights were presentation of letters of appointment to the cross section of the campaign council members and endorsement by co-aspirants during APGA primary election in the persons of Hon Izu Ugokwe, Hon Chief Jerry Akude, Hon Chibuzo Emeh and Bar. Mmaduaburochukwu Akudu. All the above APGA co-aspirants promised to leverage on their structure and support Dr Jude Akpua for victory with the conviction that the collective interest of the party supercedes personal interest. They also lend credence to the excellent personality of Dr Jude Akpua and expressed confidence that the later would nudge Umuowelle to supersonic development.
