About an hour ago, Andy Uba instructed his security men to beat up an innocent resident of Udoka Estate, who was driving into the Estate as his convoy is driving out.

This happened at his campaign office, located just at the entrance of the Estate.

Ndi Anambra, APC in Anambra is a bad omen...let's not forget in a hurry the wanton destruction of state properties by the Uba family in 2006. We are yet to fully recover from that.

BREAKING: INEC PUBLISHES NAME OF VALENTINE OZIGBO AS CANDIDATE OF THE PDP FOR ANAMBRA 2021

A few minutes ago, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) published the name of business mogul, Valentine Ozigbo as the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the November 6 election.

The national electoral body, apparently, in obedience to the order of the Court of Appeal granted on Friday, September 3, 2021 has now published the names of Mr Ozigbo and his running mate, Mrs Azuka Enemo as the governorship and deputy governorship candidates of the PDP.

This development is one more in a string of victories for Ozigbo, who is the immediate past President and Group CEO, which follows the inauguration of a 179-person National Campaign Council for the election by the main opposition party on Thursday.

The star-studded event which held at the headquarters of the PDP, Wadata Plaza in Abuja has in attendance eleven PDP governors including Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State who is the Vice Chairman of the National Campaign Council for the Anambra Poll; Governor Aminu Tambuwal, the Governor of Sokoto State, who is also the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum.

Other topshots are the event were former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governors Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom; Bala Mohammed of Bauchi; Duoye Diri of Bayelsa; Samuel Ortom of Benue; Godwin Obaseki of Edo; Govern Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu; Seyi Makinde of Oyo; Darius Ishaku of Taraba; and Aliyu Gusau, the Deputy Governor of Zamfara.

Valentine Ozigbo is a multiple-award-winning global CEO, international sports developer, and national peace advocate who resigned from his role at Transcorp in March 2020 to dedicate the next chapter of his life to public service.

In less than two years, Ozigbo has created a political movement, the Ka Anambra Chawapu movement, that is poised to make political history in the November 6 poll.

He named a seasoned administrator, academic, and a two-time commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Mrs Azuka Enemo as his running mate in July, a decision that further boosts his chances in the election.

YPP: A PARTY WITHOUT STRUCTURE, VISION, OR DIRECTION

It is quite unfortunate that a negligible cultural organization that styles itself as a political party (YPP) that is represented by the highest debtor in the land, a regular visitor to the antigraft agency of Nigeria, a confirmed fuel subsidy looter, in the person of Ifeanyi Uba, could sponsor malicious articles against a globally celebrated CEO, a respected corporate titan with a clean record, and a CNN recognized international sports developer, Valentine Ozigbo who is the candidate of a real political party of repute, PDP.

How could a gubernatorial candidate who emerged through a dubious and unverifiable process in his one-man-business Young Progressive Party (YPP), who recently lost a silly and meddlesome court challenge of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Court of Appeal, instead of hiding his face in shame decides to sponsor fake news against the PDP? Mind you, the PDP has consistently ignored this political featherweight because he is totally inconsequential in the scheme.

Make no mistake about it, for all intents and purposes, the Anambra Governorship race is a three-horse race - PDP, APGA, and APC. Every other party on the ballot is a mere decoration to make up the numbers.

The only reason why Ifeanyi is the Senator representing Anambra South today is because of the corrupting presence of the Uba Brothers - Chris and Andy who captured the tickets of APC and PDP tickets and the treachery of Chris Azubogu against his own party in 2019. Outside these two factors, Ifeanyi would have remained a perpetually defeated aspirant.

What is the silly report that got me breaking my tradition of ignoring losers in this campaign? The PDP had scheduled the inauguration of its National Campaign Council for Anambra 2021 for Monday, September 6, 2021. It was originally scheduled for Thursday, September 2, 2021. Then moved to Friday, September 3, 2021 before being moved to Monday. The reasons are at the request of PDP governors or a section of them who really wanted to be present to show support for their party.

Because YPP is a cardboard party where Ifeanyi's word is law, it doesn't understand that a real political party has the responsibility of carrying critical stakeholders along. The concept is alien to Ifeanyi and YPP, which has become the new face of agbero politics in the South East.

So on Monday, before the entire press corp of Nigeria - another happening alien to YPP and Ifeanyi - the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) announced that the event had been rescheduled due to the unavoidable absence of all the PDP governors who were in an urgent national security meeting over the crisis in Plateau State.

This is a piece of verifiable information. This update, being the truth, was accepted by the entire press community, which captured the announcement on camera or on tape.

But, the discredit spinner of lies and fabrication, the king of fake news in the South East, the freelance cut-and-join media interloper Victor Eneh decided to make a story out of nothing. The inauguration of the National Campaign Council, at the request of the PDP Governors Forum, which was represented by its DG Hon CID Maduabum was rescheduled for Thursday, September 9, 2021.

What this means is that in less than 24 hours there will be evidence all over the Nigerian media space to prove that Victor Eneh is on a desperate mission to assassinate the character of PDP and its globally acclaimed gubernatorial flag-bearer, Valentine Ozigbo.

This is a warning to the Enugu-state born media quack, Victor Eneh. The options before you are now very few. Having spent many years exposing your dubious nature to the Anambra political community, only a desperate politician like Ifeanyi Ubah, a man who is seeking the governorship of Anambra for the primary reason of obtaining immunity from prosecution for his many financial crimes, would engage an equally criminally minded tout like you to work for him. Indeed, birds of the same feather do flock together.

So what is the warning, your days working to entrench bad governance in Anambra State is over. This election is the last of your comedic media spectacle in Anambra

I have a story, a very brief one. I love the reading public, they are less misinformed of the happenings.

Prior to the Anambra Guber Election coming up on the 6th of November, I was having a discussion with a very good friend of mine who's never interested in politics but have a voter's card, in the course of the discussion, I asked him a question; Have you been able to watch all the candidates in the upcoming election or read their manifesto, he answered in the negative, he equally pleaded with me I give him a detailed report on what the PDP Candidate, Mr Valentine Chineto Ozigbo said yesterday while on air with ChannelsTV. I advised him to go watch the video himself but in the long run, I told him certain things VCO said. What happened?

He was relieved when I said something VCO said on what he'll do at Onitsha first; Making sure Onitsha is never a shadow of itself again by ensuring bandits and touts who extort from people illegally are punished and chased out from the City, ensuring decency and decorum is maintained at the biggest market in West Africa and illegal collection of taxes by these touts are stopped.

I asked him why are you happy about this? You've been harassed by touts before?

He simply answered, 'No, I'm happy he has this plans because I love transportation and hope to enter it soonest '. I understood something here, he was happy because his interest will be protected if VCO becomes the Governor.

Why am I writing this?

One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.
Before you conclude on not voting, think and think again, you may be having series of problems in business, education, healthcare and otherwise, which can easily be quenched through Government policies but you being lackadaisical about voting plunges you into yet another turmoil.

Someone fought for your right to vote, Use it!

Ozigbo, the man with the golden heart!

"My personality is simple. I am a man in pursuit of excellence. I am out to impact lives. I believe there is enormity of grace of God in me. Freely, I have received the grace and freely, I must pass on that grace. This is one philosophy that guides me. I am looking for better ways, newer ways and more creative ways to do things. " This above statement from Val Ozigbo during one of his interactive sessions is an xray into his moral character and personality. No doubt, the peoples and residents of Anambra would appreciate and embrace the PDP flagbearer as their new leader because of his triangular personality.

Firstly, Ozigbo is a business leader. It is gainsaying to understand and appreciate the role he played at various sectors of the economy. As a banker, he worked tirelessly to achieve extraordinary results in the banking industry. To top the games, he made it to head the largest investment company, Transnational Corporation which is involved in oil and gas, tourism and hospitality management. His method of management is what he termed, "Kaizen"(a Japanese word for excellent effective management and controls). He ensured a detailed auditing of Transcorp records ; by this the company is able to reduce waste and forecast more opportunities. This is the ideal character the light of the nation needs, a man of accountability. A mam who should strives for excellence and transparency instead of waste and sycophancy.

On a second note, Ozigbo portrays a lover of youths and supporter of creative ventures. Do you know how many youths that had been meticulously empowered by the VCO(Valentine Chineto Ozigbo) foundation. Do you also know that during the pandemic lockdown, the CBN COVID-19 relief fund had Val Ozigbo as act as a guarantee with an amount totaling to naira. Who does that, Ozigbo, off course? This character is bore out of love and genuine service to humanity!

It will surprise you that regardless of his status quo, Ozigbo simple and humble approach to life defines him as visionary and a pacesetter. He has an uncanny knack for excellence. Little wonder, his slogan, Ka Anambra Chawapu (Let Anambra Glow).

Many a person have benefited from his annual business plan competition. Through this avenue, young business executives have sprout up and employment opportunities especially in Anambra state has improved. What more can the great people of Anambra ask for than a compassionate leader who bears the interest of youths and elderly at heart.

Another trait of Ozigbo worth mentioning is his love for God and philanthropy lifestyle. A closer look of his story really affirms the saying, One with God is Majority. " Though a Catholic, Ozigbo love is boundless. This is the reason he was inspired to host the all denomination gospel concert, Unusual Praises. An annual concert that features different choirs to minister to God Almighty.
As a philanthropist, Ozigbo empowerment programmes has done alot to improve families and society. His foundation distributed palliatives and created awareness initiative during the lockdown.

His candid love for fellow country is of no doubt. From mentorship to sponsorship, from production to processing of final produce. From banking to hospitality. From earning and now to rewarding. It is hightime, Anambra people decided. to have the impact and desired positive change they have longed waited for. Val Ozigbo is the answer. Like Chinua Achebe's 'A man of the people. " It is pertinent to say and affirm that the lines are fallen into pleasant places and Valentine Ozigbo is a valuable asset. He is a man of the people. His impact has changed lives. Suffice to say, He is the man with the golden heart.
