National Industrial Court of Nigeria Benin The court is now established as a superior court of record vide section 254A (1) of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended.

Has and exercises jurisdiction to the exclusion of any other court on all work related causes and matters provided for in section 7 (1) of NIC Act 2006 and section 264C of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended.
