Leadership is not about political promises; it is about proactive intervention when the people need it most*
For some time, there have been whispers, doubts, and misgivings about Amb. Umanu Elijah’s commitment to the Auchi community. But while others talk, records speak.
Take a close look at this official correspondence. Long before the peak of election season, Amb. Umanu Elijah, through TUDI Africa, was already matching his love for Auchi with direct, high-level action.
He didn't just lament the devastating gully erosion crisis threatening lives, homes, and livelihoods in Auchi, he took the cry of the Auchi people directly to the global stage, petitioning the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) for urgent international intervention, funding, and technical support.
The facts don't lie. He explicitly requested a lifeline to turn Auchi and its environs into a "model for climate resilience in West Africa." This is pure love for the community. You do not lobby global climate funds for an area you do not carry deeply in your heart.
His singular goal has always been protecting the infrastructure, food security, and future of every indigene and residents of Auchi.
The Etsako Agenda is not a divisive agenda; it is an inclusive blueprint for collective prosperity. Auchi is the heartbeat of Etsako, and its challenges are Umanu Elijah’s challenges.
To the formidable youth of Etsako worldwide, our women, men and respected elders, do not be misled by political factions trying to build walls where Amb. Umanu Elijah is actively building bridges.
His aspiration for the House of Representatives is driven by a focus on bringing systemic, sustainable development to all of Etsako Federal Constituency.
When a leader fights for your environment and your survival even before holding public office, imagine what he will do with your mandate.
Let us reject the politics of division. Let us embrace proven capacity.
Amb. Umanu Elijah: Only for Etsako Agenda. Action. Commitment. Results. 🦅
