Today, I joined family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers in Ute-Okpu, to pay my last respects at the funeral service of the late Dr. Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu.

It was a solemn occasion filled with heartfelt tributes and reflections on a life that was dedicated to service, excellence, and the upliftment of others. Dr. Dunkwu’s contributions to his community and society at large will remain a lasting legacy that future generations can draw inspiration from.

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well lived, marked by integrity, compassion, and commitment to humanity. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

May the soul of Dr. Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu rest in perfect peace, and may God grant his family the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss.

Democracy, is not just a system of governance; it is a profound expression of our collective will and a symbol of our unity in diversity. It is a constant reminder that every Nigerian has the right to participate actively in shaping the future of our great nation.

As we celebrate this auspicious day, I urge all Nigerians to remain steadfast in their belief in the strength and potential of our democracy. Let us honor the sacrifices of our founding fathers by actively participating in our democracy.
